Honda IndyCar Report Podcast:Sentire Media

Honda IndyCar Report Podcast

Bruce Martin brings nearly 40 years of experience to the Honda IndyCar Report on Sentire Media. Like many Hoosier lads, the Indiana native closely followed the Indianapolis 500 in the 1960s as a youngster growing up in Koontz Lake, Indiana. While he was a student at Indiana University from 1977-82, he attended his first Indianapolis 500 in 1981 and was hooked on the sights, sounds, smells of the methanol, speed and color of the Indy 500 as a spectator inside the “Snake Pit” in Turn 4.The combination of calamity, chaos and controversy was enough for Martin to be hooked on covering the sport. Upon graduation from Indiana University in 1982, Martin’s first job was at The Gazette in Gastonia, North Carolina which lead to covering NASCAR, NBA and other sports across TV, Radio and Newspapers across the country. Today, Martin is the IndyCar Editor for Autoweek Magazine, one of the leading automotive publications in North America. He remains a Senior Writer at SPEED SPORT and provides exclusive content to the Verizon INDYCAR Mobile App in addition to various other publications. Since 2010, he has been part of FOX59’s “Sports Overtime” and “Indy Sports Central” crew as an Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 analyst for FOX affiliate WXIN-TV in Indianapolis. The Honda IndyCar Report remains a key part of Sentire Media as Martin interviews the biggest names and stars of the Verizon IndyCar Series, 52 weeks a year.
