Dana and Parks is Kansas City's highest rated radio team airing weekday afternoons from 2 pm to 6 pm. Dana and Parks cover the news in an in an amusing format. Dana and Parks is a daily radio show airing daily in KAnsas City on KMBZ-FM 98.1. When it comes to the news, it seems no topic is too serious or controversial to end up on the show. Dana Wright is a veteran TV News personality and Scott Parks has been in radio for over a decade. The show premiered over a decade ago and has slowly grown to the highest rated afternoon/drive time show in Kansas City. The intersection of news and comedy has been around for as long as anyone can remember, but Dana and Park's unique take on the topics that has made this show so successful. Dana is well known as a local TV news anchor on KCTV 5 (CBS) , but she is interested in having a fun time. Her unique manic energy and sense of humor tends to create a lot of drama and it ensures that everyone is having a good time on the show. Scott Parks is the sane conservative voice while Dana is liberal and makes it known. Together there are explosive apart they are a wreck. Scott has recently went public with his addiction to alcohol and Dana has recently been taking medicine to control her fits and to help her focus. Scott believes her pills are killing the show.
