Japan is scarce in critical natural resources and has been heavily dependent on imported energy, so nuclear energy has been a national strategic priority since the 1970s. Japan's power companies had strived to make nuclear power the key to combining environmental conservation with economic growth and energy security, however after a number of disasters, production has been in a sharp decline. The Tokai Nuclear Power Plant was Japan's first commercial plant, but it would also be the location of one of the country's worst nuclear crisis. This episode includes promos for A Nefarious Nightmare and Horrifying History.

Early indications showed that he had no remorse or regard for any form of life. His first wife was barely able to escape with their two children from their abusive marriage, but she wouldn't be his last victim.Lee met Rebecca, his step-father's niece, when she was just 8 years-old and he was 17. Later on, when Rebecca was 15, the two would develop an intimate relationship and would eventually get married. Lee and Rebecca's marriage seemed picture perfect, but Lee thought something was missing - a third person. This would be what ultimately led to the couple's demise. Please consider leaving a comment or a 5-star rating for this episode on your favorite podcast listening platform. The Gonzales family were a prominent, Philippine-Australian family that resided in New South Wales, Sydney. They immigrated from Baguio, Philippines after the Luzon earthquake of 1990 destroyed their home and business. Teodoro, AKA Teddy, and his wife, Mary Loiva, had two children together, Sef and Clodine. Teddy and Loiva worked hard to build a life of success for their family, so they had high expectations of their children when it came to their education. Teddy and Loiva were especially proud of their eldest son, Sef, who was doing extremely well in his classes at Macquarie University, where he decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and studied law. Teddy had hoped that he'd someday be able to leave his law firm in the hands of his son. July 10, 2001 had started out like any other day for the Gonzales family, but at 11:48pm that night, New South Wales ambulance dispatch would receive a frantic call from Sef Gonzales, exclaiming that his family had been murdered in their home. For this episode, I want to revisit two missing persons cases that have just recently had their anniversaries. The case of Suzanne Streeter, Stacy McCall, and Sherrill Levitt has haunted the once quiet, sleepy town of Springfield, MO for 30 years. On June 6, 1992, Suzanne and Stacy became Kickapoo High School graduates. They'd spend that evening celebrating with friends at several different graduation parties. The two childhood friends would retire to Suzie's and her mother, Sherrill's, home on E Delmar St. The next day, June 7th, the three women would be reported missing. If you have any information regarding Stacy McCall, Suzanne Streeter, or Sherrill Levitt's whereabouts or disappearance, please contact the Springfield, MO Police Department or Springfield Crimestoppers. ---On July 10, 2015, 2 year old DeOrr Kunz Jr was out on a fishing trip with his family at Timber Creek Campground in Idaho. He'd been left with his great-grandfather at their campsite while his parents went off on their own. When they'd return, baby DeOrr was nowhere to be found. If you have any information regarding DeOrr Kunz Jr's whereabouts or disappearance, please contact the Lemhi County Sherriff's Department.
