Nothing gets us feeling more about a character like a mustache origin story. This is a Movie Banter episode where we talk about Uncharted, Prom The Musical and Death on the Nile. We also do #CashOrTrash!
It's a bad movie episode! Mike watched 2005's crime drama Edison (Force?). This movie stars Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey, Justin Timberlake, LL Cool J, Dylan McDermott, Cary Elwes, Piper Perabo and John Heard. Is that enough to save this film? Find out what Mike thought. Also includes flamethrowers out of nowhere!
Earlier this month we went to New Orleans for the annual Nutmegger Trip! (We are from the Nutmeg state after all). So we talked about movies taking place or filmed in Louisiana. Do you have others? Tweet us @GameForAMovie
It's episode 45 which means a bad movie watched by the entire crew! We watched TransylMania which somehow Mike had on DVD. Find out how he got it plus fun facts that break Andre, how to properly hide weed up your butt and what we thought of this "comedy." Plus why Pete and Wang need their own movie now!
Andre took on the latest from Bruce Willis with Cosmic Sin. Was this a sin on everyone's life? Or was it nowhere near as bad as it seems? We also play #CashOrTrash for this bad movie episode!
Andre, Jill and Mike go through their top media of the year that was 2021! Also includes spoilers for Spider-Man: No Way Home, so make sure you've seen it! We also quickly cover our dishonorable of the year. It's a longer episode but we had a lot to cover!
Movie banter at it's finest. We cover the latest Marvel offering before Spider-Man, which was The Eternals. We go through the rom-coms of the season. That includes A Winter Romance (with Chad Michael Murray) and Love Hard. Also a spoiler free talk of Edgar Wright's Last Night in Soho. Plus we feature a brand new #CashOrTrash
It's the Christmas season and it's our bad movie season. So Mike watched the Hulk Hogan classic "Santa With Muscles." Hear his thoughts about the film plus the worst holiday movies Jill and Andre have seen. Also some sexual awakenings talk? You'd be correct.
We had 2 pumpkin beers on our show so see where they fall on Jill's Squash to Pie Scale. This episode is a Movie Banter episode featuring spooky movies. We cover Hell Fest, The Banana Splits Movie (2019), Muppets Haunted Mansion, Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Slender Man. We also talk our favorite scary movies and some horror video games as well!
It's our bad movie episode! It's also spooky month and Mike's choice for the bad movie. So he chose horror movie Osombie. Yes Osama Bin Laden as a zombie. How does this thing exist? Find out his thoughts on the plot as well as where he chose to watch it which might not have been the best place.
The second half of our new format. There is no bad movie on this one, just straight up movie banter between friends. The 2 movies we cover this week are Pig and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. We also finish it off with #CashOrTrash and you better believe it gets crazy!
It's the first episode of our new format! A full hour just on the bad movie! Jill had to watch this one and it was the movie He's All That. Of course Andre went through it with her and they both had a ton of thoughts.
The trailer everyone is talking about! The Matrix Resurrections! Mike takes us through the trailer. He has thoughts on the movie itself as well as some theories and what truly feels missing from it. Hear also his predictions for what he thinks it will be rated on a future GFAM episode!
It's the 3 person team of Andre, Jill and Mike this week. Andre takes us through the journey in his review of The Green Knight. Mike goes 1-on-1 with Space Jam: A New Legacy. And our bad movie was Speed 2: Cruise Control. Jill catches a ride on the cruise ship and breaks down this infamous stinker. Plus we play #CashOrTrash with Gamebreaker, The Long Halloween Part 1 & 2 and Marvel's What If...? Promo: Shoot The Flick and Open Shudders
Didn't get enough Witcher action from season 1 of Netflix's adaptation? Well an animated prequel is coming your way soon! Andre breaks down the trailer for Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf. Hear his thoughts on the trailer and what he is expecting from it!
Our second bonus episode! This time Mike holds off on Clifford The Big Red Dog and instead pivots to the newest Venom: Let There Be Carnage trailer that released. Hear his thoughts about the latest trailer and whether he will be there night 1 or if he skips it altogether. Tell us your thoughts using #GFAM
This one ended up going a little longer than normal but well worth it! This week we stuck to mostly new movies but include very little spoilers (all minor, no big plots). Mitchell caught the latest from Marvel with Black Widow. Jill told us about the Fear Street trilogy. Andre watched the latest Pixar movie Luca. Finally, Mike lost the Twitter poll and had to watch Bratz: The Movie. There are plenty of thoughts on that! Plus we have Cash or Trash and it might be our most unique one yet! Check it out!
Welcome to our new bonus episodes! This Game For A Movie Trailer! Each episode is one of our hosts talking about a movie trailer they have seen. Jill kicks it all off with Halloween Kills! Hear her thoughts about the trailer, the Halloween series and if Andre would watch with her. We hope you enjoy these smaller episodes!
It's our most dangerous bad movie ever! What makes it dangerous? Take a listen and find out! Also learn about Kid Detective and Army of the Dead. The bad movie was The Secret: Dare to Dream which got Katie Holmes 2 award nominations (so how can it be bad?). We close the episode with #CashOrTrash about M.O.D.O.K., Crime Scene Kitchen, Master of None and F1: Drive to Survive. Promo: Sass and Sips!
We are back! After an unintentional hiatus Jill, Mike and Andre meet up for episode 33! Jill, true to her musical fan self, took us through the story of the Beatle's film Help! Mike talked about Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, but more specifically The Mitchell's vs the Machines. Andre, our loser, saw 2016's Warcraft and gave us not only a rundown of the film but of the game story as well. We also play #CashOrTrash and have a promo from our friends Booze and Spirits!
