In this wild, wild west of podcasting, there's a common belief that perfection and polish are necessary for success. However, what if the key to longevity and authentic connections lies in embracing our imperfections and taking messy action? In this "AirPods Episode," we're shaking things up with messy massive action and why I think taking imperfect action creates security and longevity for your podcast, and it leads to increased enjoyment and freedom every time you get behind the mic. What you'll learn in this episode: Why your listeners really want to see are the rough around the edgesHow authenticity creates deeper trust and connection Taking messy action creates podcast securityGetting out of your own way means you care more about your message than the fear of not looking good enoughMentioned in this episode: The Daily Boost By taking messy action and allowing imperfection on purpose, can foster more joy, which creates freedom in how you podcast, because you're doing it on YOUR terms. This doesn't mean that every episode needs to be sloppy, or messy, but rather it's about embracing how many moments in life are not black and white, and by taking messy massive action, you can use this as a tool that makes you feel like you can walk through a few puddles instead of slushing through the mud of sticking to a strict schedule that doesn't fit your life.========I take ONE new podcast launch client per month because this how I keep the highest quality in my work, the white glove treatment for YOU. It's time to let go of the podcasting rules ... because they don't exist! In this episode, I get real on the so-called rules so you can have fun with podcasting as an "art form," filled with play. When you let go of the made up rules that tell you perfect audio quality and downloads equal success, that's when you create real authenticity and show up week after week because you freakin' LOVE what you do as a podcaster.   I also discuss the confusion about productivity and how embracing the playful side of podcasting is really the productivity you need, because it leads to more engagement and meaningful connections with your audience, because your listeners feel your energy and vibe. What you'll learn:Why it's important to focus on the joy of the process instead of obsessing over perfect audio quality, downloads, or strict rulesSpontaneity and structure: balance these two aspects in both podcasting and life for a more engaging and enjoyable experienceRethinking productivity: Recognize that productivity is not just about time spent behind a desk, but also includes moments of creativity and inspirationWhen you let go of rigid rules and enjoy the play of podcasting, your listeners will feel the energy too, and then you'll approach podcasting with a sense of childlike wonder and excitement, resulting in better audience engagement and more meaningful connections with your peeps. :) ========I take ONE new podcast launch client per month because this how I keep the highest quality in my work, the white glove treatment for YOU. Today I'm talking about something so important that very few podcast coaches and experts are talking about. Every podcaster will face this at some point, and usually it happens during the first few months after starting a podcast.  It's the 3 phases of a podcast, and what successful podcasters do so they don't give up.CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE TRANSCRIPT FOR THIS EPISODE What you'll learn in this episode: The 3 phases every podcast goes throughThe mindset that successful podcasters adopt Why chasing downloads leads to giving upHow to call BS on your podfade brain Why most podcasters give up after the first few monthsThe successful podcaster, who is playing the long game ... who's like the craftswoman at work, has realized the immense impact their podcast is making for not only for their clients, but for themself too, and they are all-in on doing it for the process, not the outcome. Featured in this episode:Melissa Parsons, host of Your Favorite You Podcast AIS episode of Everyone Loves Raymond========I take ONE new podcast launch client per month because this how I keep the highest quality in my work, the white glove treatment for YOU. I often see many new podcasters getting out of their lane looking at what the big podcasters are doing, wanting those same results, and wondering why they're not getting them. And they get caught up in the numbers instead of focusing on the most important metric -- humans and touching and transforming lives with their words. My life has been nothing short of incredible over the past 6 months. I made the decision to stop looking outside myself, to stay in my lane and doing some really scary things … that actually turned out to not be so scary after all.Today's episode is one that I’m sharing so I can explain what I did so you might pull a few bits of inspiration out of this for yourself … to step into your own sovereign self to see you’re stronger and more resilient that you think. What you'll learn in this episode:How I tore it all down and completely started my business over this summerHow I made space for what was wanting to come inWhen I stripped every bare, I realized I had everything alreadyFinding refuge in the absence of the illusion of what I thought was safe learn what I did during my "summer of reinvention" and how it was a little quirky and unconventional, and how I created “home away from home” at a local campground. I spent my days in our family RV. which became my haven, my refuge. A place to explore, be curious and begin the reinvention process. And asked the big question: Who is that I’m called to serve? As you'll learn, when I flipped the switch to make my transition, what I know for sure is that when you hit on what's right for you, the Universe has one big happy dance.I have a lot of exciting things to share coming in the coming weeks and months, including, a relaunch of this podcast, so that means, there will be a podcast-a-palooza party.
