How are we supposed to start at the beginning if the vast majority of episodes have been taken down? I've checked other podcasting sites & episodes 1-39 are not able to be played! WTF?
Almost forgot I was listening to an audio drama and not one of the paranormal/supernatural talk shows I love. I liked the mix.
From March of 2019 to March of 2020 for one episode? Really? I like the podcast but I'm not waiting a year between episodes. See ya!
Are there going to more episodes??? Does anyone know?
Yes... it's daddy's fault for most likely getting murdered (and probably knowing it would turn out that way for him), for rescuing you and getting you to a group of people that would keep you safe.
I mean seriously.... who told her that she was born a queen?? She doesn't give one shit about anyone other than herself... it's sad. She is so horrible to everyone who ever wants to help her. And, she wonders why even the people who know her, are trying to kill her.
As much as I love this story line ... I have not changed my mind, from episode ten (now on episode 39)... the main character, Addison, stil makes me crazy. I'm not quite sure where she developed the level of entitlement she has. I'm sorry, but being the "100% defiant one" just isn't cool anymore... there has to be some amount of give... she just always wants the take. Me, me, me... my way is the only way... etc. It's just annoying.
Hello????
Are you coming back to make more of the story???? Inquiring mind want to know... Everyone, wants to know!
The ending of this one really got me right in the feelers.
Just discovered this podcast. Listening to this episode in Oct. 2020... This is chilling. Police related deaths and chants of "No Peace"... Racist motivated violence has ALWAYS been a reality, but this episode almost seems prophetic.
Yeah... no one knows why anyone would go out of their way to help you, either... lol. Should have just been left to make, and clean up, your own mess. And still... you can't even bring yourself to be pleasant to yet ANOTHER person, who is trying to help you. You don't deserve any of the gifts that you have ended up with...
So many people have died because her overbearing need, to please no one, but her own undeserved ego... the greatest person in her life died, asked she still can't help, but be anything but a major bitch to everyone around her. Part of me really thinks that this writer actually WANTS us to view this character as a horrible ungrateful, selfish, heartless, sociopath of a bitch. Not caring for anyone but herself... perfect personality for the "journalist" she hopes to be. It's really a shame that she had to use that premise for the character, because the stories are great, but the crappy personality just frustratingly overshadows the entire story. I really thought she was going to eventually see her ways, and grow some kind of heart... some humility. But she just never does. IF I continue to listen, I will start skipping more than just the long-winded "updates"... For goodness sake. None of us are angels, but make your character more likeable...
Yeah... you SHOULD have called her, you spoiled little brat...
Amen!
The music makes me feel as if this is a story of Victoria from The Lift gone demonic. I think I'm gonna' love this podcast!
I just started episode 4. I really enjoy the concept of this podcast, and really love the main stories but, not so sure how I feel about the 30-45 minute extensions/updates of every story that came before. And, at first, I liked how the main character was excited about the box she found in the first episode. I was just as excited, myself. But... the main character is really starting to bug me. Don't get me wrong, she tells the main stories, well. However, she reaches out to these people for information or advice (on the phone conversations) and, she is fortunate to have experts and resources that are willing to even talk to her, at all. Yet, when they give her their time, she treats every single one of them like they are lying idiots that are only wasting her time. I am surprised that no one has just hung up on her yet. Or just snapped back at her with a really good, sarcastic, "I'm sorry. I was under the impression that you actually wanted to speak with me". I mean, you can act skepti
it is devastating that this is still relevant today. I wish it wasnt.
It was a consistent binge on the TheBox podcast and given the trend and the quality of episodes there is a lot more to come. The Box team did a great job of mixing fiction with reality and I loved the overall concept. Yet, I am deciding to move on. 48 episodes and I think I have had enough. It feels like a never ending series.
Ok... so a guys gets hot by bullets and then the protagonist realises that she is not needed and runs away just to enjoy herself . Seems like a person having an anxiety attack and running away from responsibility... I am loosing interest gradually.
