Remember you are not a celebrity. Take responsibility for your reputation - protect and preserve it.
Are you really trying to take the flack which comes with being an online activist? Sometimes keep your opinion to yourself especially if it is at odds with the values or ethos of your employer (or potential employer).
What you say online matters. You do not have to like, share or comment on everything you see, agree or laugh at online. Beware of the algorithms on social media platforms. Your browsing habits and history are not as private as you think.
Can you really do and say whatever you like in your personal or social life, and your job, career or profession not be affected? Some employment contracts with social media clauses
Have boundaries at work during social or informal moments (in the lift, breakout areas, work gym, on the train etc) during conversations with colleagues.
