How wonderful is it that God initiates a relationship with us? Be encouraged as you listen to this truth from a chapter in The Echoes of Her Heart book- available on AMAZON.CO.UK and WWW.THEECHOESOFHERHEART.COM
AVAILABLE ON AMAZON! This book has been a burden on my heart for a few years, and it is for the woman who has wandered and wondered in her search for meaning, security and stability in life. It's for the woman who senses that earthly pursuits and things aren't quite enough, and yet doesn't know where or how to begin her search for wholeness. For the longest time, I have wondered about the heart. Specifically, the heart of a woman. It's purpose, influence over our lives, and the consequences of sin in our day to day reality. As a burden on my own heart, it goes without saying that this book has grown with me as I have evolved as a woman- a broken woman, a woman on her way towards healing, a restored woman by faith in Jesus Christ. You see every woman's heart has an echo- whether it be loud and invasive, or quiet and almost invisible it is there. We wonder and wander because of it. YOU CAN PURCHASE THIS BOOK FROM AMAZON TODAY!
Have you ever found yourself falling down the rabbit hole of social media and the internet? What starts off as a quick 5 minutes ends up to be a 1 hour session of browsing and indulging! In todays podcast I am sharing about idleness and how we crave it. How can we find a balance as Christian women?
Can you imagine if you truly thought that you had faith, and that you trusted in God, only to be hit so hard with a life circumstance, and realise that you actually had/have very little faith? That the rock that you thought you stood on was actually sinking sand- and it was making you sink very quickly? It’s a very frightening place to be, and the Lord has been drawing my attention to the fact that my confidence needs to centered on Him ONLY.
Preparing to steward another life as God would desire and leads us to is no small thing. It requires all of you. Your sacrifice (a vision worthy of this), sensitive communication, your dependence on God, and your death in several ways in order that another might live.
Often times when we find ourselves in a new season, or experience, we tend to draw back and look for the old version of ourselves and the level of faith that we had. Yet have you considered that in our new seasons, God is calling us into a new version of ourselves? To evolve into a new person, and operate and live out a new level of faith in Him?
Have you ever felt spiritually, emotionally and physically fatigued? Or a little bit indifferent to life and all the things before you that need to get ticked off your list? You are not alone, In this podcast we are talking about the experience of feeling weary, and what to do when you just don't feel like it!
If there has ever been a time to be clear on our WHYS, it is now. As we prepare to enter into 2018, we can do so with real clarity when we know who we are and what we are truly living for. Knowing "your why" for everything you do will help you to eliminate distractions, be more productive and most importantly, grow into the woman that God desires you to be.
Being "ordinary" is not a crime and in this podcast, we'll be looking at the burning desire within us to live extraordinary lives. While we do this, could we actually be missing out on the extra ordinary moments in our lives with Jesus? How can we embrace a life of possible obscurity- and actually be OK with it? Have a listen!
What is it? and how have we been called to this incredible role and responsibility? I shared this message at the Good Wife seminar 2 weeks ago and wanted to share it with the ladies who couldn't make it!
Romance is something that a lot of us desire, and while it is a good thing, and is even seen in passages of the Bible, there are certain aspects of romantic idealisation that can prove to be unhealthy for us when it comes to our relationships. We can spend so much of our time day dreaming of a perfect fairytale life that we place unrealistic expectations and pressure on ourselves, and loved ones. So how do we balance it all?
