That's okay, because the Rock Talk jabronis have you covered and are watching the finale LIVE on this episode! If you remember, Jordan and Charlie were crushed to find out their application wasn't accepted to join the Titan Games but after watching, it's understandable why they weren't chosen. The Fast Family Vacation begins! And it couldn't begin with a better movie. xXx (don't google that without safesearch on) is part James Bond, part X-Games and part Mountain Dew Code Red. This is Vin Diesel at the height of his hairless powers and HOO BOY is it a roller coaster. The jabronis talk about fur coats, mini-submarines and soundtrack pole dancing in this INSANE episode of Rock Talk. This movie is WALL-TO-WALL relentless insanity and might be the MOST PERFECT MOVIE EVER MADE. At least Zuckerberg likes it. Also!! Gal Gadot cast in Red Notice!! Please remember to review the jabronis on iTunes! It's the #1 way to help us out and keep making the show.

San Andreas

San Andreas

"Who should we call?" "EVERYBODY." 2015's San Andreas, or, Dwayne Johnson vs. Earthquakes. This movie does a disaster flick EXACTLY RIGHT. We have crazy destruction, cheesy one-liners and copious amounts of product placement. Is this movie scientifically accurate? OF COURSE NOT. Mostly because all of the science is being explained to us by Paul Giamatti. But it doesn't matter when your CGI-laden movie is INSANELY FUN! Also!! Jungle Cruise starts production next week!! More details on Hobbs v. Shaw!!
From Splash Mountain to highly classified intelligence information, The Rock's Twitter feed has it all. Guest jabroni Erin Shore joins Charlie and Jordan on the quest to find the ALL-TIME BEST DJ TWEETS. And yes, we talk about THAT TWEET. Join Rock Talk next week as they discuss the earthquake disaster movie San Andreas!!
Walking Tall

Walking Tall

2018-05-0355:07

Walking Tall is DJ’s first foray into a gritty, throwback, 1970s style action movie. Except with Johnny Knoxville. And Zero from the Holes movie. If you like movies that barely eclipse the hour-long mark, THIS MOVIE IS FOR YOU. It’s 85 minutes of slow-moving action that features crystal meth, a fireman strip dance, and SO. MANY. BULLETS. Also!! The Undefeated looks into DJ’s football career!! Kevin Hart and DJ photoshop war!! Elizabeth Warren still loves Ballers!!
It's part two of our Rampage discussion AND WE'RE FIRED UP. Why? Because the guys at @NerdyThingsPod trashed our boy DJ. WE THINK THEY MISSED A FEW THINGS. Kevin Howe joins the jabronis to defend the honor of Nerdy Things. It's an audio deathmatch!! TWO PODCASTS ENTER. ONE PODCAST LEAVES. Charlie and Jordan cover anything they missed last week (sorry about the audio quality, btw) including: clunky dialogue, wiener transplants and thermostat hacking. IT'S ALL HERE, BUB.
Is this movie dumb? Yes, but is it dumb fun? ALSO YES. The jabronis are joined by guest Caleb Holt to discuss The Rock's newest movie, Rampage! Dwayne plays primatologist Davis Okoye who forms a bond with an albino gorilla and BLAH BLAH BLAH IT DOESN'T MATTER. All you need to know is that our boy DJ has to fight three monsters before they destroy the entire city of Chicago. THAT'S IT. SIT DOWN AND EAT SOME POPCORN, DUMMIES. Do NOT overthink this movie. So join the jabronis as they do just that in this week's episode of Rock Talk!
Southland Tales

Southland Tales

2018-04-0558:27

If you take the Book of Revelation and throw it in a blender with Donnie Darko, Interstellar, a few adult films and some monkey souls, THIS IS WHAT YOU GET. Southland Tales is an ambitious world-building story about a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles where entertainers are politicians and a government agency spies on Americans in the name of national security while the end of the world is afoot. Sounds interesting, right? THEN YOU WOULD BE WRONG. This movie is like that kid in your 9th grade government class that began every sentence with, "Well, actually..." EXCEPT WITH MORE MURDER. There's a lot going on here and we do our best to explain it. (You WILL have more questions, though.) And remember, PIMPS DON'T COMMIT SUICIDE. Also!! Dwayne Johnson wants Jimmy Kimmel to deliver his baby girl!! The Rock confirms Vin Diesel beef to Rolling Stone!! Join us next week as we have a VERY SPECIAL EPISODE (VSE) to cover The Rock's latest movie, RAMPAGE.
MARCH MADNESS HAS HIT ROCK TALK! People love brackets. It's a fact. So when it came time to make one for Rock Talk, the jabronis knew what needed to be ranked -- ONE LINERS. Jordan and Charlie spent WAY too much time whittling down the many amazing Dwayne Johnson quotes to the 16 very best. Which one is the best? YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO LISTEN. Join us next week as we take a look at one of Rocky's lesser known outings: Southland Tales.
