Schwab started with talking about people and equipment and what it takes to keep that equipment up to date. Then also talked about the facilities that are available to UFC from the Winthrop and Brownton locations as well as our other agronomy sites. Then we kind of talked a little bit about technology and how technology has really helped growers get more efficient, not necessarily bigger but more efficient in the acres are covering and how it's also helped UFC become the leader, I guess you could say, in technology in our area and then we hit on the corridor process and what it takes to manage a such a big fleet and be able to work together and not and not work as two different companies. Read the full show notes here!www.UFCmn.com/News-Events-New/Planting-Profits-Show-Notes/Making-sure-we-re-ready-for-you
Wade Oman from Kuhn-Krause is talking with Jesse and Jason Ries about tillage; options if you didn't get your fall tillage done, different tillage types and what the benefits are.  You don't want to miss this episode!
We ran through the different divisions and how obviously there's some safety requirements, safety trainings that would overlap, but there are division specific trainings that go on as well. We talked a little bit about the safety committee, safety week, and our Soar to Safety program here at UFC and how we're working with employees to help Doug make sure the message of a safe workplace is getting out. Spoke a little bit about more specifically in agronomy, the different trainings as well as a different products and how we handle those. And then just to wrap it up, like Doug said, safety of our patrons is something that's very important to us as well as the safety of our employees. And we don't take either one light, so Doug it was really nice having you on something a little different to talk about versus just strictly agronomy, but I hope the listeners get something out of this where they can apply it to their own operation.
Ryan Ponwith is in today to talk about what fertilizer options UFC has and how to maximize your ROI
