Michelle and Don Perugini, a husband and wife duo from Adelaide, South Australia are serial founders of three technology startups - ISD Analytics, Presagen and Life Whisperer. Their companies are centered around the application of predictive data analytics, behavioural modelling and AI into the fields of organisational decision making, process automation, and reproductive therapy. Michelle and Don both come from the academia, with PhDs in medicine and computer science respectively and have a passion for commercialising cutting-edge research. In Episode 3, Jan Smejkal, director of Startup Grind China and Asia Pacific, joined me from Shenzhen, a bustling metropolis which has been described as China’s Silicon Valley. Originally from Czech Republic, Jan is helping build a connected ecosystem of entrepreneurs in China and APAC through the global Startup Grind network.
