In Episode 018, our guest is American Hero, Lt. General Jerry Boykin, Ret. Lt. Gen. Boykin was one of the elite warriors chosen in 1978 to make up the first unit in America's ultra-secretive and clandestine Delta Force. He then became commander of the unit, and later still, commander of all U.S. Army Special Forces. His thirty-six years in the military included a tour at the Central Intelligence Agency and clandestine missions around the world. Jerry retired in 2007, serving his last four years as the deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence. In Episode 012, our guest is former Pro Hockey Player, Business Owner, and Coach Dave Jones. Dave grew up in Western Pennsylvania and spent most of his early childhood and adult life in and out of hockey rinks around the world; playing in cities such as Ottawa, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Kalamazoo, and Grand Rapids. His love and skill for hockey lead to a professional career playing in many countries including Luxemburg, Russia, Slovakia, Switzerland and finally Germany. In Episode 010, our guest is Founder and President of Mercy Multiplied, Nancy Alcorn. Nancy, a native Tennessean, spent eight years working for the state of Tennessee at a correctional facility for juvenile delinquent girls and investigating child abuse cases. Working for the state on a daily basis gave her direct encounters with secular programs that were not producing permanent results that exemplified changed lives. In January 1983, determined to establish a program in which lives would truly be transformed, Nancy moved to Monroe, Louisiana to start Mercy Ministries of America (now Mercy Multiplied). Since then, Mercy has impacted thousands of young ladies lives in a positive way and expanded to include locations in Monroe, Louisiana; Nashville, Tennessee; St. Louis, Missouri; Sacramento, California and locations beyond the borders of the United States, including the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand.
In Episode 009, our guest is Entrepreneur, Author, and Speaker, Mason Weaver. Mason’s distinctive point of view is a direct result of a past tragedy that has produced a present day triumph After approximately 2800 pounds of steel and iron plates fell on him, while on active naval duty in San Diego, California, the Navy classified him disabled and discharged him. Mason found himself unskilled and disabled. He had to discover a new way of earning a living. After graduation from UC Berkeley with a degree in Political Science, he won a position with the US Department of Energy against 2,400 applicants for four job openings. Between 1976 and 1980 he was promoted from an entry level employee to a Mid Level Senior Contract Specialist with a “Confidential Security Clearance”. He negotiated many multi-million dollar government contracts with major contractors, including TRW, General Dynamics, and General Electric. In 1980 Mason resigned to become an entrepreneur, forming a private consulting company to assist businesses in obtaining and administering government contracts. He has consulted with many multi-national companies on government and political issues. But Mason Weaver had to learn how to earn income, how business was achieved and how to teach others. Mason has been the national and regional spokesperson for many groups and organizations. He is a noted conference speaker and guest lecture. Mason Weaver has appeared on national TV, cable and news programs. He is often contacted by national news organizations to comment on breaking stories. Mason hosted a live call in radio program and wrote a weekly column on social and political issues. He soon became a sought after public speaker and lecturer. Mason is gifted with an extraordinary view of government and business. Mason Weaver is the author of It’s OK to Leave the Plantation, The Rope, Diamond in the Rough, and Polishing the Diamond in the Rough which discusses the social issues that affect us all and that bind us together. Noted for his quick wit, vigorous debate and forceful oratory, Mason is a challenge to the opposition and an instructive persuasive counselor to allies.
In Episode 008, our guest is American Hero Clebe McClary. First Lieutenant Patrick Cleburne McClary, III, USMC, Retired, known to thousands as “Clebe McClary,” is an American hero. During the Vietnam War, while some of his contemporaries were staging anti-war protests and desecrating the American flag, the Lowcountry native was serving as a platoon leader in the First Reconnaissance Battalion. On the battalion’s 19th patrol, the unit was attacked by the Viet Cong. Lieutenant McClary was seriously wounded, losing his left arm and left eye, yet he continued to lead his men. The numerous surgeries and long recovery period that followed could have taken a bitter toll, but he faced his rehabilitation with characteristic determination. In the years since, Lieutenant McClary has become a symbol of courage and hope to the many audiences around the world with whom he has shared his story.

State University as an All-ACC Linebacker with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. At Sanderson High School in Raleigh, NC, he is in the Hall of Fame and received All-American honors in Football. Through the years, Pat has spoken to numerous athletic teams, youth groups and churches to encourage them to join God’s team and to live as a Starter for Jesus.
