The new Roadhouse has arrived and we are here to talk about its greatness! Is it an improvement over the 80's classic? We may have an answer...

We saw Barbie. We didn't like it. We are grumpy. We apologize.
Tom Cruise is here to save the box office and give the fans another fantastic Mission Impossible film. Does it live up to the hype? Is it better than Fallout?Send us an email: BeforeYouSeeTheFilm@gmail.com
Oh boy. We are back! If you're a long time listener, then you know our dog Mitty tends to interrupt our recording. Well guess what, now we have a son and he's gonna make recording even more interesting. We recently saw Indy 5 and we have some thoughts. Hint: the movie was a lot of fun!
The fourth film has arrived and its almost a three hour film of fun. Did we love it? Yes. Why? Listen and find out. Don't worry, we do a spoiler warning.
We recorded throughout the 2023 Golden Globes award show. It wasn't easy and we struggled at times. Was it a good show? Well we can for sure say we do feel mostly bad for the host and the writers. Horrific jokes, dreadful monologue and a guarantee that no new viewers will be tuning in next year.
Everyone loves a detective mystery. Daniel Craig returns to solve another fun crime in the sequel to Knives Out. We follow up that review with a discussion about Brendan Fraser's The Whale. Sit back and listen to our not always professional reviews of these two award worthy films.
Worth the wait? Is there a special necklace? Did the crowd fall asleep like they did in Wakanda Forever? Discover the answers by listening to our review of Avatar 2.#avatar #avatarthewayofwater
There's no hiding what we feel about this film. At one point, Danny had to check Jess' pulse. Eyes shut, super still. Jess survived to record this episode where we talk about Black Panther 2. A dreadful 2 hours and 41 minutes of I don't even know. Opening weekend and sold out theatre filled with people checking phones, sleeping and crying babies.
Every actor and actress you can think of is in this David O. Russell film. Did we enjoy it? Listen and find out.
ep. 62 - Do Revenge

ep. 62 - Do Revenge

The netflix film that some people are talking about, Do Revenge, has been viewed. Yup. Hear our in depth review of this teen tale ( featuring 25-28 year old people pretending to be teens) and learn if there are any special necklaces of significant meaning to the plot. Well, there isn't, BUT the villain Max does wear a religious necklace and that is worth your own research.#dorevenge
ep. 61 - Fall

ep. 61 - Fall

2022-08-2828:58

Pure terror? or pure...nonsense? Two females stuck on a 2,000 ft tower. It's a simple set up and we certainly agree it causes a lot of stress.
We catch up on a handful of films currently available to view in the theater or Netflix. Find out which film is an easy "recommend" and which one (or more) is just not great. We have lots to say about these summer films. Two in the theater, one on Netflix and one at the drive-in.
Well this one caused a lot of debate. Jimmie joins Danny and Jess to discuss the fourth Thor film. Was it good? We may not all agree...Email us at BeforeYouSeeTheFilm@gmail.com
The 6th Jurassic Park film has arrived! Jess and Danny discuss their recent viewing of this dino flick and yes, we do have a spoiler warning at the 9:30.
The wait is over! Tom Cruise is back. Three plus decades since the first film and a two year delay because of Covid, but the film has arrived. Does the Top Gun sequel live up to the original? Is the hype real? If you haven't seen the film yet, we do provide a spoiler warning during the episode before we reveal anything.SPOILERS occur after 10:10 Email us: BeforeYouSeeTheFilm@gmail.com#topgun #tomcruise
It's been a busy few weeks for multiverse fans as we have two films to discuss. Luckily for you, we have Jimmie back as a guest on the show! Michelle Yeoh vs. Dr. Strange, big budget Marvel vs low budget A24...who will win? Enjoy this mostly spoiler free episode (well, we try to warn you when spoilers are about to be unveiled).
Every Nicolas Cage fan's dream has arrived with The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Cage has finally returned to the big screen on a large scale for the first time in over a decade. Sure, he has made some random films, BUT he has also made some gems like Joe, Pig, and Mandy. Is this another gem? Find out!
ep. 54 - The Batman

ep. 54 - The Batman

2022-03-0731:54

This episode features our FIRST ever guest on the show! Jimmie joined us to watch this 3 hour epic Batman film and then we chatted after. We all shared a mic and because of that I do apologize. The casting of this film upset some people as we still have those holding out hope for another Ben Affleck movie. So, is the film decent? A masterpiece? Did one of us eat a hot dog during the film? Maybe. #TheBatman
It's a musical! Did we enjoy it? Did we know every song? Maybe. A Spielberg classic? A musical masterpiece? Let Jess and Danny explain West Side Story to you...HINT: Short podcasts typically are because the film is better...#stevenspielberg #westsidestory
