Once the greatest propaganda machine for the Nazi Party, the Hindenburg represented the epitome of power and excess. However, it now lives in infamy because of a fateful night in 1937.
Touted as one of the most egregious violation of human rights in history, the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment preyed on the hopes of Black men who were wanting to be cured of the terrible disease. Instead, they were the subjects of a study that exploited them in order to discover the effects of the disease on specifically Black men.
