The topic under discussion in this first podcast is from one of the articles in the Autumn issue of The Majellan ~ the alleged medicinal benefits of cannabis. Not as many issues are as controversial as cannabis. Its legalisation has been hotly debated since Adam was a boy, and yet there’s still a great divide between those who would welcome its legalisation and those vehemently opposed. And then there’s the question of whether cannabis is a pain reliever? There are many who swear by its effectiveness to alleviate pain. There are people who have suffered for years with chronic pain who have started taking cannabis. Majellan contributing writer Suvi Mahonen interviews some of these people and several medical experts in the field. But not all are convinced. Some doctors believe the jury is still out on just how effective cannabis really is! Subscribe to the Majellan Magazine at; www.majellan.org.au Have your say!
