We are Afros 'N Convos! We are a group of four, 30-something women who have been friends for over a decade. We always have in depth conversations and wanted to bring that to you. This week wraps up Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Just earlier this month, President Biden signed the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act into law in response to the rising violence against Asian people since the start of the pandemic. It is a great step for the Asian community to address this recent wave of violence, but it has left many in the Black community feeling unseen and unheard as there is still a fight to get the George Floyd reform law passed.
