This week we give a review of the stand alone Takeover event. Once again from beginning to end they did not fail to deliver. Matt Riddle unleashed a whole new side in his opening battle, The queen of spades retained her title, Velveteen dream stood tall. There was a Tag Team Title ladder match which saw the Street Prophets crowned as the new champs. To cap off the night was what DK describes has the new match of the year , between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole. Well ladies and gentlemen the era of Bay Bay has begun. Of note is was great to see Thomas Ciampa on the pre show but he is a ways out yet. On to the WWE Supershowdown PPV in Saudi Arabia, despite an exciting card with such matches as Goldbird vs Undertaker, Triple H vs Randy Orton and the looming Money in The Bank contract. Both Al and DK are a little apprehensive of how this will turn out. But we give you a complete review and predictions. Also some updates on the world of wrestling including Sasha, Ric Flair and a possible return of CM Punk. Finally the t shirt company has given us their first show. Double or Nothing has come and gone and DK and Al are here to give you our complete summary and review. DK starts of the show and he is a little irritated to say the least. The question is this. Do we really need to make this a brand war? Or as wrestling fans can we just sit back and enjoy all the choices we have now. Before we can even get started DK and AL have a heated discussion on the latest Raw. Both Al and DK believe the pre show and mid card of Double or Nothing leave alot to be desired. All though there are some bright spots, AEW still has some work to do. Summary of the last 3 matches. We think Cody vs Dustin Rhodes is quite frankly the match of the night and of the year so far. The Young Bucks vs the Lucha brothers was a great match but would have served the company better to be placed earlier in the card. The much anticipated Omega vs Jericho was a solid main event, and the long awaited arrival of Jon Moxley was epic. We turn now to the upcoming solo NXT Takeover which will be the brands first PPV without being shadowed by the main card. It looks like another solid card for the NXT brand heres our picks. "When a disgruntled pro wrestler declares himself ‘galactic champ of the universe’ a planet of alien wrestlers views it as an act of war.” The series (the first story arc of which will go to six issues before being collected in a trade paperback) has recently found a publisher with Starburns Industries Press, the comic book publishing arm of Starburns Industries, the company that brings you Rick & Morty.
