Employees are asking themselves the question “Should I stay or should I go?” more than you’d like to believe. If you avoid having stay conversations with your employees and wait until they’ve already decided to quit, it’s going to be too late to change their minds. Once the employee has decided to leave the company, they already have one foot out the door and aren’t likely to turn back. This week’s episode of the Entrepreneur to Employer podcast is about the power of stay conversations and how they positively impact employee retention. In this episode, Brian shares the importance of taking a proactive, instead of reactive approach to employee retention by implementing regular conversations that gauge why your employees are staying with you. He also covers:What is a stay interview and 3 reasons why it's worth your time to conduct them. How stay interviews differ from exit interviews. 2 conditions are required for the stay interview engagement strategy to work. Practical aspects are needed to conduct a successful stay interview. Stay tuned for next week’s episode where I cover 21 questions you can utilize in your stay interviews. Thank you for listening!
