I talk about the foundation of morality, how we justify harm, what it means to be a hero, and where evil comes from. I argue for what I claim is the universal nature of morality, an objective moral foundation that is an emergent property of our brains.

This episode I talk about the foundation and history of Stoicism.
This is the very first episode of the Wandering Stoic, and it really is just an introduction. There are a lot of sound effects from the tent flapping in the wind. Considering I am recording this from the wilderness in Mongolia there will probably always be weird sound effects. The next episode will be a more typical episode, whatever that means. Thanks.
