Description

If you like vocal fry, general uncertainty, and listening to a couple of assholes talk about close to nothing, then join Leland and Cora (two roommates) as they figure out what to do with their lives. If they're lucky, friends will (for whatever reason) agree to come on and tell them about their own lives.

Since it seems like you can't have a podcast without talking about ayahuasca, Cora decides to go to Ecuador to do an ayahuasca retreat (https://www.roninsina.com) and gets the Tea on the A (ayahuasca). She first talks to her good friend Michael Donovan (on at 14:36) to get a veterans advice, and then interviews Petteri Lamula (on at 26:30) who's done ayahuasca hundreds of times, been to over 50 shamans, and is now starting to hold the retreats in Ecuador. Intro and outdo by Alan Watts, obviously. Special thanks to Leland for the support since he's sworn to never do psychedelics that sound like parseltongue (snake language).
On this episode, Leland goes rogue in NYC and interviews three friends (Tyler Mckusick, Jason Alba, and Pheobe Streblow) about their worst roommate experiences and begs the question: "What is a Roommate, even?" We also introduce our new astrologer, Pheobe Streblow, to bring some insight for us all in the coming month (you can follow her on instagram @astralplaza for all your astrology needs). It's a doozy!

On this episode Leland and Cora talk about their recent trip to Japan, get in a fight (in which Cora tries to persuade Leland to take mushrooms), and are joined by "relationship expert" Amanda Conrad who gives advice and tells us all about her relationship with Brendon Walsh. Thrilling!
On this episode Leland and Cora explore the age-old question "what is love?". In trying to figure it out, Cora drops some knowledge about fungus and talks about her recent mushroom trip while Leland gets up close and personal about his sex and love life. It's tantalizing, it's... just look up "tantalizing" in a thesaurus and it's all those other words too.
On this episode emotions run high and friendships are tested as Leland and Cora thoroughly review La Croix flavors from Apricot to Cerise Limón and bring on special guest, Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes), to analyze their dreams.

Join Leland and Cora as they try and figure out what this podcast should be about, and discuss what they dislike about living with each other, the correct pronunciation of "La Croix", and gayness.
