In this podcast, we cover how to use a bold marketing approach to get you more sales for less advertising resources & cost.Connect with Stacey Kehoe:Review on iTunesConnect with Stacey Kehoe on LinkedInVisit the Get Online Book WebsitePurchase the Get Online Book on AmazonTake the Digital Marketing TestCould your digital marketing perform better?
What is a SWOT Analysis?SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. A SWOT Analysis is a technique for assessing these four aspects of your business. You can use SWOT Analysis to make the most of what you've got, to your organisation's best advantage. You can reduce the chances of failure, by understanding what you're lacking, and eliminating hazards that would otherwise catch you unawares.Better still, you can start to craft a strategy that distinguishes you from your competitors, so that you are able to compete successfully in your market. In today's episode Stacey explores how to create a SWOT Analysis. Identify your strengths, consider your weaknesses, claim opportunities, and anticipate threats. Connect with Stacey Kehoe:Review on iTunesConnect with Stacey Kehoe on LinkedInVisit the Get Online Book WebsitePurchase the Get Online Book on AmazonTake the Digital Marketing TestCould your digital marketing perform better?
This documentary from Jeff Orlowski explores how addiction and privacy breaches are features, not bugs, of social media platforms.  It calls for an overhaul of big tech business models and ending online corporate surveillance. 2020 has underscored just how much we rely on technology to connect, learn, organise, and live our lives. But the business model of big tech poses an unprecedented threat to our human rights - harvesting and monetising the data of a third of the world’s population and trapping us in a system where we are forced to either submit to pervasive tracking or forego this critical lifeline.I’ve asked a few members from Team Brandlective to join this conversation.IMPORTANT REFERENCES & CORRECTIONS:BREXIT: We discussed the movie Brexit featuring Benedict Cumberbatch on this episode which is feature-length documentary film to inspire as many people as possible to vote to LEAVE the EU in the June 23rd referendum.Watch the Trailer FLAT EARTH CONSPIRACY: Kyrie Irving is mentioned in this podcast episode and we incorrectly reference the NFL rather than the NBA (sorry Kyrie).  He does in fact play, American Basketball (not Football).AMERICAN NEWS NETWORKS: Who controls the media in the United States? In the podcast, we reference only 2 people owning the media networks.  After a fact check we can confirm it is actually six conglomerates control most of the broadcast media in the United States: CBS Corporation, Comcast, Time Warner, 21st Century Fox (formerly News Corporation), Viacom, and The Walt Disney Company.Got a question?  Get in touch.Connect with Stacey Kehoe:Review on iTunesConnect with Stacey Kehoe on LinkedInVisit the Get Online Book WebsitePurchase the Get Online Book on AmazonTake the Digital Marketing TestCould your digital marketing perform better?

As the audience for podcasts continues to grow, there has never been a better time to start a podcast for your business or a personal hobby. Podcasts are a great way to build a genuine connection with your audience. Instead of the fractured connection you make through social media, podcasts allow you to engage your audience with unique long-form content. And podcasts are more convenient than blog posts: people can listen to podcasts while driving, working out, or just doing chores around the house. There is also a lot of unexplored space in podcasting. As of 2018, there are close to 50 million YouTube channels,1 440 million blogs,2 but just over 550,000 podcasts listed in Apple Podcasts.3 That means for every podcast there are 800 blogs and 90 YouTube channels.Johnathan Merrifield joins Stacey Kehoe on this episode to discuss podcasting, and proving some incredible tips on how to get starting with podcasting. In this episode, we have a group discussion about the importance of company culture, what it actually is, and how to figure out whether it’s working for you or against you. Company culture is “by the people, for the people”. However, the bi-product, of course, is a far more successful enterprise. I have asked a few members of my team to join me and discuss company culture, core values and what really is important to the millennial workforce. So listen in, and lets open The Vault that is Brandlecive Communications company culture. The workplace is where you spend more than one-third of your life. Do your employees wake up every day and look forward to a day of work or do they drag themselves to the workplace counting days to the weekend? Do they feel the same ownership and dedication towards the business as you do?   Only an approach that really values people as a unique resource, that treats employees with trust, and instills a sense of confidence and cohesion among the workers will achieve a beneficial company culture.  Employee incentives and appraisals might not always be enough to motivate an employee to work for the best outcome for your business. Sometimes in extremely challenging circumstances when a collective endeavour is required to save the day for your business, it is the love and affection employees feel towards their workplace that turns out to be a decisive factor. There is no single benchmark for a “great” company culture—every business is different—but you will need a consistent and strong set of values if you want to remain competitive in the near future. It’s only going to become more important from here.  These are hard lessons I have learned through growing my business.   Once upon a time I didn’t give company culture any thought, but it is through hiring and firing, recruiting great talent, overcoming challenges and actually asking my team what they want from the workplace that over the last few years I have begun to take my business in a new direction. Useful links: Content Creation WorkshopBrandlective Team Day 2018 with 'Steve' - Really Wild Business Brandlective CSR Policy  Brandlective’s #1MillionDays initiative  Brandlective Brand Guidelines & Core Values The Vault Contact Information: The Vault WebsiteThe Vault InstagramThe Vault TwitterThe Vault Pinterest
