On this episode, we are adding a Salt Lake Insider flavor by talking about an event that is coming up at Publik Coffee House in SLC. Leslie Albertson, Director of Marketing at Mixbook. Mixbook, a design tool for fully customizable photo products, is hosting a free, immersive and colorful holiday pop-up event from 2-4 p.m. on Nov. 10 at Publik Coffee Event Space in Salt Lake City.CreateCelebrate Holiday will celebrate creativity and the joy of the holiday season. There will be festive interactive installations, family holiday portraits, DIY stations (including a kid-friendly storybook station with Brittany Jepsen of The House that Lars Built), a Holiday Mocktail Bar, food from local vendors, and much more.

My background is in venture capital and technology startups in the Bay Area. I was drawn to SLC by the growth and culture, that in my opinion, provide an awesome foundation in which to build a new business.
