Description

Tyler Thrasher is an artist and scientist with a deep and aggressive obsession for rare plants. Specifically those of the cacti and succulent variety. This means that Tyler needs a greenhouse and this means that Tyler spends all of his time in that greenhouse. Tyler spends a lot of time speaking to himself in that greenhouse so he figured he would just turn on a microphone and talk while he worked in that very same greenhouse. This podcast features a man with many stupid and sometimes humorous thoughts. He will try to work in info and care tips regarding cacti and succulents but some might say he's given up hope helping plant murderers.

In this long overdue episode of Greenhouse Rants, Tyler straps on his tired pants and gets outside to scream. While this year is full of frustrating and depressing things, Tyler focuses more on some of the issues closer to home and ones that may be effecting us all, such as the negative void of social media, the tendency to show our best lives ONLY, our habits of yelling at others for seemingly not doing as much as ourselves, etc. Tyler also takes a moment to address some of the more vile tendencies and habits of the plant community and vaguely pull the veil back on thieves that volunteer at botanic gardens and actively steal from the community while profiting on that illegal behavior. The episode ends on a note about fighting depression, staying motivated and asking for help. You're allowed to rest. Everything else in nature does. <3Support the show
