Dark Dark World is a true crime podcast hosted by Jordan Crittenden(with occasional co-hosting from Ed C and JessiKa-Boom).
We mostly focus on lesser-known cases, but we also like to take a look at some of the bigger true crime stories that may have slipped through the cracks of current mainstream consciousness.
We also do a series of episodes where we discuss popular true crime documentaries, and those episodes are labeled Doc Doc World.

Effing Jerry Brown. No one should have gotten parole. If the young women and the teenage girls got actual sentences for soliciting this crime and planning this crime, then the man who took a claw hammer to someone should also be rotting in prison still. And the deal the one bitch got is a joke.
So disappointed to learn that Fentanyl may not be as lethal as I have been led to believe.
she can stay right where she is. she is living a quality life in prison where she is allegedly doing a lot of good. the "real world" was not the place for her, her only chance to be a good person is in prison. remorse is easy to fake. learning what parole boards want to hear, and then saying it, can be learned. plenty of the Manson family did not kill, but for this particular series of crimes charlie handpicked the people he knew were capable. I realize far worse people get paroled. just because the state is complicit in those grievous injustices does not mean that any of the Manson family members involved in this series of heinous crimes ought to be paroled. she is a model prisoner BECAUSE SHE IS IN PRISON. She only did these marvelousthings BECAUSE SHE IS IN PRISON. I cannot take this guy's ageism against the murder victims. He is basically saying "they were old anyway". And "because there has been a lot of violence since, these crimes shouldn't be that big of a deal"? wtf

I skipped over the older ones because my brain didn't grasp the concept! duuh! These were awesome to do! DOCumentary first then discussing it is a fantastic idea and I felt like I was not all alone watching them! I really looked forward to hearing your comments on the podcast! Your selections are excellent and discussions are too! Yay I get it! I am going back to past episodes now to catch up! Please don't do staircase! That creep does not deserve one second of anyone's time! HE would love the attention that he does NOT deserve! I would follow a miniseries, just not that one, ew! I agree with you 100% that white serial killers are always sensationalized by the media. In fact white killers have there own channel. You know ID channel. 99% of the murder cases they cover are of white people killing other white people. Rarely do you see an African American or a Hispanic person who murders there own race covered. Hey man this was the first episode I listen to and wow what an episode to pick. Anyways great job you got a new listener for life.
