The Road Ahead

To round off our travel show, Dan Richards has written a roadtrip-based short story about hitting the US highways. We are taken on a vivid Kerouac-inspired trip through the Cascades, where it’s rumoured there might be bears...

After a trip to Bangkok we are inspired to head north and traverse the tricky roads that link Chiang Mai to the backpacker haven of Pai. Along the way we meet festival organisers, chefs and other locals who tell us their experiences of travelling around the country.

A city-wide trip around the French capital to talk fashion, urbanism and architecture with Laulhère CEO Rosabelle Forzy, architect Franklin Azzi and urban explorer and writer Nicolas Le Goff.

We travel north on the Shoreline Highway from San Francisco to Marin County to meet a wealth of Californian characters, from counterculture heroes to oyster farmers.
