Hey there, Soothers! Do you feel stuck in life? Spring is a great time to get the energy moving, and I've got some tips on how to do it. I explain the concept of 'getting the chi going' that relates to Feng Shui, about how you can start to create momentum in your life around a particular area, and how I'm starting to do that this April on Instagram by doing a Reel challenge (follow me @catherineandrews). Have you ever heard of the term aphantasia? Aphantasia is a relatively unstudied phenomenon that involves not being able to visualize images in your mind. Reportedly about 3% of the population have this condition, and I'm one of them.I didn't realize til my late 30s that this was even a thing; I was shocked to find out that most people had the ability to go around doing what essentially sounded like hallucination to me. (I learned about it, as many people did at the time, from this article.) As I read more about how most people can easily visualize or play movies or images in their mind, I grew jealous, especially as I got more into spirituality and manifestation. A huge component of manifestation, meditation and other spiritual practices is often the ability to visualize your desires, or other images, in your mind's eye. I've also been told many times by random people that I'm psychic, but how can somebody be psychic if they can't see, you know, psychic images in their mind's eye?Over time, I've figured out my own ways to tune into spiritual practices that work for me, even though I can't visualize. And that's what I'm sharing about today! Even if you don't have aphantasia, tune in, because these tactics can help everybody deepen their spiritual practices.I'm hosting a free 3 weeks within the Sunday Soother Membership in March, with 6 free new classes to attend. I know a lot of you are motivated, you desire to work and live more into your purpose, and you also may struggle with impostor syndrome or an inner critic. You may feel far away from what you would like to become or be. So today I talk about the importance of consciously finding evidence every day about how you are ALREADY the thing or person you are desiring to be, right now, right in front of you, and I share a couple of stories to ground this concept. The Sunday Soother podcast is a spin-off of The Sunday Soother, a weekly newsletter that creates conversations around compassionate personal development and helps readers access their spirituality, magic and mindfulness in practical, actionable ways. You can find Catherine on her website catherinedandrews.com, or  @catherineandrews on Instagram.

Happy new year, Soothers! For this week's podcast, I am letting you listen into one of my regular Tarot readings in the Sunday Soother Membership. I asked Tarot a few things: What are the energies of 2024, and how can we best navigate these energies to our benefit? The answers I got were very clear, and I'd love to let you listen in so you can get a sense of what 2024 might have in store for us all. There's a bit of a meditation at the start, then some journaling at the end. Enjoy this Tarot lesson, and if you're into it, sign up for the membership! On January 25th inside the membership (Tier 3) I'll be teaching a workshop on how to use Tarot and the feng shui bagua map for goal-setting for the year ahead. The Sunday Soother podcast is a spin-off of The Sunday Soother, a weekly newsletter that creates conversations around compassionate personal development and helps readers access their spirituality, magic and mindfulness in practical, actionable ways. You can find Catherine @candrews on Twitter and Instagram @catherineandrews, and her coaching website is catherinedandrews.com.
Hey Soothers! In today's podcast, I give guidance on a different way you can start to think about change and growth. Many of us cannot change current circumstances for whatever reason; say you want a new job or to quit and take a break, but you have to provide for a family; or maybe you really want to move to Europe, but you have to finish your degree stateside for a year. Not all hope is lost! If we can't change material or physical circumstances quite yet, we can still definitely begin to change *energetically.* This process is making internal and energetic shifts first towards your desired goal, and as you make those internal shifts, the external circumstances will eventually catch up. I share specific tactics for how to do this in today's episode. This podcast is in celebration and promotion of my and Missy's brand-new, never-been-done before, group coaching program, The Energy Alchemy Mini-Mind. It's a 4-month group coaching program for HSP and empath leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who are tired of playing timid good girl on the sideline and are ready to connect fully with their purpose and boldly step into and share their mission, their gifts, and their light with the world. In the mini-mind (limited to 10 participants), every month we'll go over a different energy block that's related to your purpose, and lead you through exercises on energy clearing, EFT tapping, and feng shui. Think of me and Missy like your energy detectives/energy cleaners — we'll come take a look at your energy field, uncover what's blocking you from your purpose, and help clear your path forward.Details all about the mini-mind here; we're on earlybird of $3000 (payment plans available) until Dec. 23, when it goes up to $4000. We start in January.
Do we all have a purpose? How do we find it? And what does energy have to do with connecting to our life purpose? That's what one of my favorite people in the world, Missy Toy Ozeas, energy healer and intuitive, and I talk about today. Missy and I both stepped into our purpose-driven spiritual careers at roughly the same time, and today we talk about how other HSPs and empaths can discover their own purpose; we share our backstories about the fear and challenges we went through (and still go through!) in accessing and living our purpose; and we dissect how energy work can help you more clearly connect with your purpose. This podcast is in celebration and promotion of my and Missy's brand-new, never-been-done before, group coaching program, The Energy Alchemy Mini-Mind. Hey Soothers! Today, I turn to some of my greatest teachers: Trees. The ways trees interact with each other has a lot to show us about how we are relationally with others, and where we might want to shift into patterns that better support us. I explain the behaviors of codependency, hyper-independence, and, ultimately, healthy interdependence, and share a metaphor about the ways tree behave that may help you better understand this behavior in yourself.Working on healing codependency and hyper-independence is a huge aspect of Soothe, where we meet in small groups, become vulnerable with other people, and tend compassionately to ourselves as we learn to ask for help and rely on other people. Hey, Soothers! In this episode, I meet with my feng shui teacher, Amanda Gibby Peters, to take a holistic view of the power of feng shui for all people, but especially highly sensitive people. Hey there Soothers! Today I bring to you a lovely, warm group of amazing women — one of my current small groups inside the Soothe mastermind! The small groups are the tender heart of my Soothe program, and by listening today you'll hear straight from a few of the women who are currently in Soothe! I know it's one thing to hear me talk about Soothe, and quite another to hear actual participants, so I hope you'll enjoy this beautiful group of women, why they joined Soothe, and what they are learning and taking away from the program. Hey Soothers! Today I'm so excited to have on Kayse Gehret of Microdosing for Healing. Kayse Gehret is a nature-based healing artist, author, founder and podcast host.  With nearly three decades of experience in the healing arts, Kayse leads Microdosing for Healing - a nationwide virtual community around earth medicine practice - as well as the Best Practices Mastermind for Healers - a global collective of diverse healing artists & health professionals brought together for learning, strategy, growth, collaboration and visioning new healing models for the future. I connected with Kayse over the summer when I took one of her programs. Today we dive into all things microdosing, from our how personal journeys using earth medicine both started, WTF actually IS microdosing, how microdosing in Kayse's experience has helped her clients with nervous system dysregulation, hormonal and menstrual issues, and feminine energy, and lots more. I'll be incorporating microdosing medicine into Soothe, and Kayse is a big reason why — she taught me how plant and earth medicine helps heal us and helps us grow at a different level than cognitive and intellectual understanding can do. Read about Soothe, the year-long circle and group mentorship for highly sensitive women, and book a discovery call: https://www.catherinedandrews.com/sootheIf you book your discovery call by Oct. 31, you'll get a $1500 earlybird discount off Soothe.
Did you know it's been four years and one month since I left my corporate job and leapt into the great unknown of starting and running my creative online teaching and life coaching and writing and whatever the heck else I do business? I thought I'd take some time to reflect on lessons I've learned about running a business these past four years. In this episode I talk about why you don't need to f*cking scale your business, why regulation is the most important business skill you can learn, how 2023 has been for me compared to past years financially, what I'm noticing in what my audience is desiring, trends I'm generally seeing in the industry, and more. This week, I talk about how one of the biggest fear I see in women when they think about taking non-traditional or unconventional risks (leaving a job, moving, anything financial-related) is the big, scary fear of either being arrested/ending up in jail, or ending up homeless, or as a "bag lady." We may poke fun at ourselves when we name this fear, but it has a really serious, deep and ancestral origin that's based in historical occurrences of the past, and I want to dive into that today. Hopefully with this context we can understand where these types of fears come from, why they are with us, and how we can begin to move through them and heal them.Sign up for my New Year's Eve retreat: https://www.kellyabarrett.com/shenandoah-retreatRead about Soothe, the year-long circle and group mentorship for highly sensitive women, and book a discovery call: https://www.catherinedandrews.com/sootheThe Sunday Soother podcast is a spin-off of The Sunday Soother, a weekly newsletter that creates conversations around compassionate personal development and helps readers access their spirituality, magic and mindfulness in practical, actionable ways. You can find Catherine @candrews on Twitter and Instagram @catherineandrews, and her coaching website is catherinedandrews.com.
