2023-12-2901:06:30

The treacherous trio are back to spread some holiday cheer for you wonderful listeners! This week on the show we spent a good chunk of our time talking about the Max documentary “Class Action Park”. This place was like Shangri La if you were an 80’s kid who wanted to rage. If you haven’t seen it, you should definitely check it out. Other topics include bumper stickers, a strange trip back from Oshkosh that included a man laying in the street, a haircut debacle, and a Taco Bell orgy! We close things out with a round of Christmas movie trivia! Cheers!
#224- Three Talkin' Turkeys

#224- Three Talkin' Turkeys

2023-11-2401:07:05

This week on the show we got together the week before Turkey Day to chat about all sorts of stuff including the Telemarketers documentary on HBO, bar trivia, the Grillbot and much more. We hope you all had a tremendous Thanksgiving, and we will check in with you all in December. Cheers!
As we wrap up the yearly Creepshow offerings, we bring you three more tales for your listening pleasure! Adam, Sarah and I have really enjoyed getting back together to record and we are going to keep the fun going in an abbreviated fashion. You can look forward to getting a new episode dropping on the last Friday morning each month. As always, we would love to hear your ideas and feedback so feel free to reach out! Have a great Halloween and we will check back with you the day after Thanksgiving. Cheers!
Welcome to part II of the 2023 Creepshow! We spent a few minutes chatting about last week's topics including the papermill documentary that Adam referenced. From there we get into this weeks tales that include an industrial revolution steel mill that may be haunted by one of its most notorious foremen, the strange numbers stations that started popping up shortly after the cold war of which many are still operating today, and a crazy story about an exorcism of a woman who was tormented from beyond the grave by some of the worst people on the planet. Enjoy!
We're back, witches! This week we we're more than happy to reconvene in the studio after a several month hiatus to bring you what has become the favorite shows of the year for both the listeners as well as Adam, Sarah & I: Creepshow! We took a few minutes in the beginning to just chop it up, but the meat of the show is focused on some chilling stories. A man winds up dead in a vat of pulp in a Green Bay paper mill. Several people end there own lives in a Milwaukee government building for seemingly no reason. A mysterious letter sender tortures some new homeowners from the shadows of an idyllic town in New Jersey. Let us know what you thought of the stories presented, and give some feedback on the show in general. We would love to hear it. Enjoy!
This week on the show we address the fact that the show hasn't really been what we want it to be as of late, and we have a bit of news on that front. We also chat about Mat and Adam's weekend in Oshkosh for the annual Water City Wrestling Con. Don't worry, we kept it very light on the wrestling and focused more on the sights, sounds and hangs. If you do want to hear some of the wrestling stuff be sure to check out Dorkside of the Ring, a weekly show that is available wherever you hear this one. The second half was a make good from last week after some technical difficulties robbed you all out of the 80's trivia showdown between Adam & Sarah. We played that back in its entirety. Thank you so much to those that take an hour or so out of their lives every week to listen to the show. It really means a lot. Like, way more than you know. Cheers!
This week on the show we start off with no agenda, and although we stumbled a bit out of the gates, we pulled it together for a good show (I think). The bulk of the show was spent with Adam and Mat squaring off for some I Love the 80's trivia with some other random topics (and some awkwardness) sprinkled in. Cheers, everyone. Hope you all had a swell Easter.
This week on the show it's back to the Triple Threat of Adam, Sarah & Mat as we tackle all sorts of topics. As per usual, there are lots of side tracks that get taken in this one. We thought back to our paper delivery days, gave our opinions on our favorite soda, and more. In the second half, Adam & Sarah square off in a 1980's themed game of Smart Ass. Cheers!
This week on the show we have two very special guests making their return! Adam's folks, Jody & Kristy Tollefson sit in as we chat about all sorts of randomness. It was really fun and a great change of pace. For the bulk of the show, Sarah played host for some tag team trivia with both teams getting questions from what should be their wheelhouse. Which generation will reign supreme? Listen and find out!
This week on the show we kick things off by chatting about the recent St. Patrick's Day weekend that included Sarah's trip to a Wisconsin Dells supper club and Adam bopping around Madison. Mat runs down a recent trip to a salt spa that Sarah clearly thought was ridiculous. Then Sarah reads the description of a film that Mat stumbled across before finishing the show with some Filthy Trivia. Come hang with us this Saturday at the Rock County fairgrounds for the JWA show and be sure to get to Emmy's on Sunday for a fundraiser for our friend Will Natz. Enjoy!
This week the band is back together and we finally get to talk about what went down a couple of weekends ago when Mat went to San Francisco and Sarah went to not one, but two Bruce Springsteen shows in Minneapolis and Milwaukee. Adam recounted his experience being quarantined in the basement. Don’t worry; redemption is coming as plans are in the works for SummerSlam in Detroit! After some St. Patrick’s Day celebrity birthdays, Sarah hosted a very closely contested round of trivia focused on the 17thday of March. Hope you all have a great Friday. Party your asses off. Safely. Cheers!!!
This week on the show we had to call an audible so we are bringing to you one of our most talked about episodes! Go back in time a couple years to hear a crazy tale about drunken debauchery with Seth as he recounts an evening (that turned into multiple evenings) that he ran into someone under the Tom Petty umbrella. It was a wild one. While we're at it, consider this a call to arms. We would be thrilled to be the platform that you get your story out there. We can change names, etc. if need be, but if you or someone you know have an entertaining tale to tell, by all means hit us up through the podcast FB page, or shoot one of us a message. Also, if you see my gorgeous wife around this weekend, say Happy Birthday! Enjoy!
This week's show is a little abbreviated, but we a re sure to make up for it next week as we are all doing some traveling and should be full of stories. We discussed snack cakes, JWA's latest show at the Rock County Fairgrounds, and more. In the second half, Sarah & Mat went head to head in a round of Desperado. Big thanks to Ashley for putting that together! Enjoy.
#213- Generational Trivia

#213- Generational Trivia

2023-02-2401:11:44

This week on the show we chat about dogs rolling in shit, an independent wrestling show that Mat and Adam attended in Rockford and a whole lot more. In the second half, Sarah's husband Jim joins us as we play a new trivia game. Enjoy!
This week on the show Adam and Sarah ran through their weekend festivities as each did a little traveling. Adam and some family rented out a large cabin near the Wisconsin Dells as Sarah and her sisters took the trek to St. Louis to stay at the Lemp Mansion. If you are unfamiliar, you should check out the Creepshow segment that Sarah did on the Lemp family back in October. They definitely had some strange experiences. After that, Mat hosted some trivia for the other two to close out the show. Enjoy!
#211- It Was a Floater

#211- It Was a Floater

2023-02-1001:01:52

Topics on the show this week include: Raves that occurred after hours at a local buffet restaurant, Adam's experience at the Comedy Cabin, grocery store assaults, and in the second half, we bring back an old favorite as Sarah brings a 1 true 3 to the table that was very funny. From there, we get some news before wrapping it up. Enjoy!
This week on the show we kick things off discussing the current state of malls and the new Dead Space remake. From there, Adam fills us in on a trip to the Kohl Center for a Badger basketball game and all the accoutrements that went along with that. We ran down the results of the 2023 Royal Rumble tattoo draw and how we each felt about who we have to choose from. Mat's car got ransacked in 8" of snow, and we chatted about some new shows that Sarah has been watching and she gives us some recommendations. Enjoy!
This week on the show Mat shares a story that includes another brush with death starring Meeko the Cockatiel. Adam talks about an Atlanta native that was doing her best John Rambo impersonation outside of a wrestling show and a great misunderstanding that went along with it. Sarah quizzed the boys in some trivia from 2010 as Adam put the Ramblin' Rabbi on the line. As we start year four of the show, let us give you listeners a big thank you! We really appreciate each one of you. There are only so many hours in the day, and we are thrilled that you give one (or so) a week to us. Cheers!
This week on the show we talk about Adam's weekend in Milwaukee to see a comedy show. We also chat about tobacco, tacos & Tick Tok. For the second half of the show we take a little trip down memory lane. This is the 4th anniversary of the podcast and Sarah put together a little something that helped jog our memories of some great show moments. A big thank you to everyone that has ever checked out the show and an even bigger thanks to those that have stuck with it and supports. It means a ton to all of us. Cheers!
This week on the show we talk about strange internet ads, Sarah recalls listening to a true crime podcast episode that took place in Wisconsin, middle school shenanigans and more. In the second half we did a little pop culture trivia. Cheers!
