Description

The Unscripted Health Podcast was created to break through the current life script of false beliefs, lies, and misconceptions about what optimal health is and how to achieve it. Using the long hidden secrets of Functional Medicine, Genetics, Alternative Health, Enzymology, Food Science, Nutrition, Energy Science, Organic Process, Soil Science, and the natural role of movement, Dr. Messer aims to educate and inspire people to live "off-script" so that we may eventually live in a world where disease is rare and living a happy, fulfilled, and energetic lifestyle is the norm.

From this, our epigenetics, chemistry, physiology, and biology create and manifest possibilities. o   Allostasis- systemic whole body organization of balance through change = Homeodynamics.o   Whole body systemic interconnectedness Let’s start by discussing what it will take to better understand the foundations of a high functioning body. To fully grasp the concepts and be able to administer the information in your own life, you must first have the right mindset. Having the correct mindset will help guide you through your journey to living a high functioning lifestyle. Here is a list of some necessary parts to a healthy and beneficial mindset: 1. Willingnessis the openness to discover something new and/or better. o   Willingnessis the first step to awarenessand awareness is the first step to positive Change.o   Lack of willingness towards positive change elicits a stress response.o   Without willingness, we cannot find understanding, tolerance, acceptance, or congruency.o   People who are high functioning are perpetually hungry for learning and improving previously established patterns, habits, and beliefs.o   Willingness is all about conscious intention to freely and purposely be aware, perceive, and engage all opportunities to learn, grow, connect, adapt, and evolve. o   High Function Health- continues to build and improve relationships and health, including behavior, mental, spiritual, and social health.o   In short, the willingness to be aware of broader information and allow progressive adaptation/change to beliefs, patterns, habits, and bias. 2. Perception: What is perception? Perception is our awareness of our environment through physical, chemical, hormonal, molecular, and energetic signals, vibrations, and sensations.o   Your perception determines how your stress responses are triggered;Including their intensity and duration.o   Is the body perceiving things we are not consciously aware of?o   POP’s –Persistent Organic Pollutantso   Information in food? The environment it was grown; was it harsh, inadequate, or polluted? Chemicals in food, enzymes, nutrient balance? We grow people out of balance. We can grow food out of balance and think it looks fine.o   Information in makeup, body products, drugs?o   The body is fully aware of what you expose it too, even if you are consciously naïve.§ Example: drugs most clinical trials are performed off shore in foreign countries, where it’s cheap and most impoverished countries are full of people who have been drug free most of their life so results are better than if given to Americans who have been exposed to many drugs.§ Medical researchers question this because people in other countries have different diseases and stressors and metabolize differently.§ Drug companies like it. It’s cheaper, easier to recruit people, regulations are less stringent or don’t exist, and

What is Healthy?

In this episode, Dr. Messer goes on to talk about the definition of the term "Healthy" and how the current Life Script of today defines it. Further, he explains a more effective, alternative approach based on preventative medicine, opposed to the current crisis-care model of Allopathic Medicine.Social Media:Twitter: @messer_drFacebook: Dr Robert MesserTranscription:·     Laying the foundation; as we started building the foundation of Unscripted Health allow yourself to see, hear, and feel where we are now. Permit your mind, just for a bit, to bypass the filters of bias, beliefs, and old patterns to take in some novel information that can possibly offer you the chance to shift into higher levels of health. ·      I will be giving you a background on where we are now, some stats, some health information from the current script that has been literally causing more disease than it is preventing. Which is intentional, because if you don’t know the truth of unbiased science, how will you know where to aspire to greater options and lifestyle.·     The media today is often misleading, it’s not Fake news, it’s filtered news. Filtering out informationand limiting your informationto push you in a specific direction for economic or political reasons, to make a sale, and to support the current life script. Of course, there is nothing wrong with someone selling you something. It’s the intention behind the sale that matters.·      I know that some of you are anxious, saying, “Just give us the good stuff, what can I do right now, to make changes?” ·     If I don’t lay the foundation of why we should change the script and how to change the script, then giving you things to do will simply result in you perpetuating the current Script. Therefore, nothing will change. So I’m going to lay the foundation for you. And then, when you do the things I suggest, you will get the results you desire. ·      I will sprinkle some “Things to try”as we go to give you some actionable steps. First, take the time to realize where we are starting from. That will clarify the reality of the current script as it exists around you and help motivate you to move towards a functionally healthy and rewarding future, living the Unscripted Health lifestyle.   1. What is Healthy?  ·      Definition:“Being healthy is the body’s ability to adapt congruently and sympathetically, including, but not limited to, systems epigenetically, physiologically, chemically, neurologically, emotionally, and electromagnetically to the stressors and stimuli from a specific environment and maintain biodynamic balance within all systems.”·     Simplified: Being Healthy is the body’s ability to adapt congruently to the environment at the time.·     This means if the body can’t perform daily lifestyle requirements without help, well…·     If symptomatology was ignored and allowed so long that it became extreme to the point that organs had to be removed, well… that’s not healthy and hasn’t been since before symptoms started.·     Removing the organ is not creating health, just removing damaged tissue and discomfort·     And did the organ actually need to be removed? ·     For the body to adapt it must function correctly:§ Being in reasonable shape, having flexibility and energy§ High functioning Brain, NS, Immune, kidneys, liver, GI, endocrine systems, skeletal, muscular, epigenetics, at a level high enough that our bodies can adapt adequately.§ To obtain higher funct
