The Títere Poet, in his own practice and in community, challenges conventional narratives in human behavior, modern manhood, politics, his home, his hood, and himself; and he relentlessly examines the roots of toxic masculinity, with an eye toward defeating it. In this episode we are speaking truth to power, with a little too much Bacardi, as we dive into who we are as a collective, our mission statements, our experiences, and why we all came to this thing we call poetry. Don’t skip the commercials in this one, folks.
