Santiago called Mac on his birthday. The following is that horrid call.

On December 21st 2004, a small independent film by Jared and Jerusha Hess was released on dvd. in the coming months it would begin to garner cult status. The year was 2005 when we first saw it for ourselves as 15 year olds in Snyder Texas, and now almost 15 years later the nostalgia for the movie still runs high. Was it a cinematic masterpiece, no. Was it a laugh out loud comedy with raunchy bits and teenage angst, also no. Did it “change” the game as far a comedies were concerned, again no. it’s really hard to explain. So join me and Mac as we go to the movies and discuss the totally safe for work comedy that broke all the rules and some how still worked without any of the tropes of norm found in movies of its kind at the time...
