Today's topic is Curricular Traditions. Mainly focusing on Traditional, Progressive, and Critical learning methods I will be having an artifact representing each schooling method throughout this podcast. Specifically for my project, I will be focusing on moments in my life where I've experienced these schooling methods. For tradition, I will be discussing how my schooling growing up was. For Progressive, I will be speaking about my education courses in College and for Critical. Episode Detail Bilingual education has always been a hot topic in the United States; however, within recent years different types of bilingual/ESL programs have been developed and imploded in schools. In this episode, we will discuss the major arguments for bilingual education, the counter-arguments against bilingual education, and the essential components necessary to make English-medium education effective for emergent bilingual students.
