We drive from Darwin to Cairns. Besides clocking up some serious kilometres, we found some very interesting attractions along the way.

Spent four nights at Yulara to take in Uluru and Kata Tjuta and then travelled north to Kings Canyon. The view was spectacular, well worth the climb.
Coober Pedy is an opal mining town and many buildings are underground because of the extreme heat.
