We live in a world that is governed by invisible laws or principles. Some of these laws are called the law of physics while others are called the laws of the Kingdom of God. It doesn't matter how old you are, how educated you are, how much money you have in the bank, whether you're married, single, whether you are male or female; these laws still affect you. The laws of Physics deal with our interaction with the earth. The laws of the Kingdom of God deal with our interaction with God. You believe it or not, these laws, one way or the other affect your life.
What are the characteristics of a mature Christian.
We live in a world that is governed by invisible laws or principles these laws are called the Laws of Physics or the Laws of Nature. These laws affect everything in our natural world. There are also laws of the Kingdom of God, These, like the Laws of Physics, are invisible but the effect every area of our life. Our spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, financial, and relational.
What do a Football, a Basketball and a Christian have in common.

Two of the many benefits of serving God are (1) deliverance and (2) enlargement. We have God's promise of His deliverance in time of trouble if we will call upon him. We also have God's promise that when we are faithful to Him, He will bless us, promote us, enlarge us in our particular calling, in our station in life (whatever occupation we choose to pursue).
Its limitations, what it cannot do and other good questions.
Until the pain of remaining the same is worse than the pain of changing, we will not change! (Author unknown)We don't like change, it makes us uncomfortable, and yet sometimes the only way we can move forward in life, accomplish the things we want to accomplish, is by change.
The law, give it to Israel but it was never given to the gentiles or to the church. The law was intended to reveal sin, not to secure righteousness. The law demanded righteousness but was powerless to provide it. The law versus grace.
Everything God has done or will do has been for our (mankind's) benefit. We may not always recognize those benefits but they are there and they are real. Here are just four brought about by this Easter season.
To whom was it given, to whom was it not given. What are the limitations of the law.
Although the people are greeting Jesus as their king, in fact, they are following their own concept of who Jesus is as king of Israel.
In Him we live and move and have our being, and we are complete in Him!
The disciples were faced with a situation the likes of which they had never encountered before. They have run out of ideas of what to do. What can we do when we have reached the limits of our abilities?
These statements from the Word of God are more than cheerful optimism, wishful thinking, or positive affirmation. THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD! When we declare these with our lips, we are declaring what God has spoken over us and declared to us that we have and are, as a member of His Family.
A story of God's love and restoration!
So far, we have covered 22 different "in Christ", "in Him" scriptures and the list continues to grow. These statements from the Word of God are more than cheerful optimism, wishful thinking, or positive affirmation. THIS IS THE WORD OF GOD! When we declare these with our lips, we are declaring what God has spoken over us and declared to us that we have and are, as a member of His Family.
I am so glad the Bible is completed! I would hate to have my name brought up on some Sunday morning, used as an example of how not to live life.
