Didakane was named after the Greek word for doctrine, didache. We exist then to explore the doctrines of Christianity and to bring the topics usually reserved for academia to the home.

This is a sermon preached by Logan Kane on 10.11.2020 about the restoration of the world. The text is Revelation 21:1-8.  We live in a time between Christ's Redemption and the Final Restoration. This sermon focuses on what God has planned for the restoration of the world, and how this should give us hope in this present age.
It is Saturday morning just before Easter and this episode reflects what Christ has accomplished on the cross on Good Friday.  We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We stand condemned, deserving of wrath, but through Christ and his work, we can receive the forgiveness of our sins!  On the cross he was the propitiation for our sins, he stood as our substitute, and by his blood, we are saved. Even in the middle of COVID, I pray that you take this time to remember Christ's work, and tomorrow you celebrate his glorious resurrection!
This month I had a wonderful opportunity to preach a sermon at Redemption Hill Church. It goes over Mark 6:45-52 and how Christ shows that he is the sovereign God through his miracles.  If you like the message please share it with your friends! I pray it is encouraging to you and helps you better understand this passage in Mark.
I do want to apologize for the delay in getting out my new episode. There are some that look forward to my uploads so again I am sorry you had to wait this long. In this episode, I tackle the Biblical Christain response to homosexuality, a common and pervasive sin in our culture. I go over some objections to my stance as well as scriptures that support me. It is not an exhaustive list, however. If I seem a bit quieter and less energetic I did record in the morning before coffee. Big mistake. But I think it would be a bit out of place to be "peppy" while on a serious topic like this one.
The Trinity

The Trinity

In this episode, I will be explaining the basics of the Trinity. Well, I will go beyond the basics as well. I will cover the deity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as well as their relationship to one another. This episode does not have a script and felt a lot more natural for me. I would love to hear any feedback that you have on how to improve the podcast for the future. Lastly, feel free to leave some topics you'd like to see me cover in the comments. I don't really have a schedule and would love to provide the content you would like to hear. God bless.
In this episode of Basics of Beyond, I go over the reliability of the New Testament scriptures. I will discuss the manuscript tradition, variances within the text, and how some of these variances came to be. Most importantly, I hope you learn that we can have confidence that the New Testament we have in our hands today is a reliable copy of what was written oh so long ago. I would love to hear some feedback from you so feel free to leave a comment. This is the second episode of my first podcast so any constructive criticism is appreciated.

The one episode all about me (before it's all about God).  In this episode, I cover who I am and the goals of the podcast.  The goals mentioned have changed a little bit. I am trying to produce one episode per month, and the lengths of the episodes will vary.
