In this episode, my friend "Stephanie" shares her story of healing from Complex PTSD. Her childhood was horrific which included child trafficking. She survived only to become what she feared after a serious accident left her with charges of child abuse. But God had another song for her, a redemptive story and hope for healing. She is a wife, mother, artist, trafficking survivor, overcomer, and soon-to-be art therapist. Want to support the show? Like, share, subscribe, follow, or leave a review! In this episode, Jennifer talks with "C" about her daughter's experience with the deeply grieved family members of the victim. She endured harassment but chose to forgive and seek to understand the grief from their perspective without judgment. Her daughter "Lynn" was a young driver and senior in high school at the time of the accident. "Lynn" allowed us to share her piano recital piece written and dedicated to the victim and her own grief. Please continue to pray for all who suffer in these tragedies and may we all grow closer to the Lord as he heals our broken hearts. Amen.Want to support the show? October 4th 2021 was the 5th anniversary of remembering David and my journey after my accident. It was a good day. I stayed active physically, emotionally and spiritually. I went on a hike, lit a candle, journaled, prayed and I praised God for bringing me this far. Psalm 71 is my battle cry, verse by verse it speaks over this very season of my life like an anthem. Fitting it would land on Episode 71. God is certainly good!Want to support the show? Like, share, subscribe, follow, or leave a review! In October of 2017 Esperanza's son Elias "Shorty" at age 17 and a senior in high school was involved in a tragic accident involving fatality. The Arellano family had for many years been involved with  addiction recovery outreach, work with homelessness and specifically a strong prison ministry, never did they believe that prison would affect their own family after the accident. However God has redeemed hope, shown himself faithful and this is just the beginning. I hope you enjoy this story of how God is working in and through this story.  For more information on how to give to Shorty's Shoes or Prison Outreach Ministry please visit: http://www.rockcf.org/outreachWant to support the show?
