Why I'm Still A Christian

American Christianity sees many people stay in the church through their adolescent years and then leave through college and adulthood - but others stay in the church through adulthood. Why is that? In this episode, Sharon & Lexi are talking about their personal reasons for staying in the church and the logic, reason, science, and faith that play into their decision. Too many people believe that Christianity is for children and that believing in God is for the ill-informed. On the contrary, the more information that is gathered on how the universe works, and understanding personally who God is, demonstrates the undeniable truth of God's existence. __ Come and be a part of the conversation & community in our Working Out Womanhood Podcast Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/workingoutwomanhood/ Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/workingoutwomanhood/ If you liked this episode, we would be SO grateful if you took a second to leave us a review on iTunes. Welcome to the Working Out Womanhood Podcast where we're talking about what it really looks like to live an intentional life as a young Christian woman! We're sharing our own honest journeys of things like transitioning out of college, getting married, dating as an adult, doing ministry, and learning to live life on purpose. In the last few years, we’ve navigated a lot of changes in our lives, and we’ve realized that it’s way more complicated than we thought it’d be to grow up & live life on purpose. But, oddly enough, we didn’t hear a lot of people talking specifically about this season. The season where you've graduated from college, but you still feel like you don’t know what to do with your life. The season when you pay your own bills, but still aren’t sure how to make a doctor’s appointment for yourself. The season where you want to live a life of faith, but struggle to plug into community like you used to. When you feel like you should have it all figured out and feel like you know nothing. (And secretly you worry that everyone thinks you’re a fraud.) If this sounds like your season, this podcast is for YOU. 💛 It’s us, figuring things out, and bringing our friends along for the ride. Our mission is to inspire women everywhere to live for Christ and talk about things that matter!
