Prime's animated superhero mayhem show is back with a bang, yes I mean  Invincible!
This week we do a deep dive into Iwaju, the first Walt Disney animation studios original animated series.Created by Kugali, the animated series is set in a futuristic and vibrant version of Lagos.  It’s a show that has been long in coming and we’ve been waiting for since the announcement in 2020.We break down the show and try to cover as much elements as possible from the world building, character designs, relationships, themes , plot, pacing, character arcs amongst others highlighting what we loved and what parts we didn’t like in the showIt was a truly enjoyable discussion and we look forward to you telling us where we are categorically wrong as usual.
The crew is back after a two week break with more bodies from the world of Comics and Superheroes
This week we review the recording breaking Deadpool Trailer, the badly received Madame Webb movie, the Iwaju trailer from Disney's collaboration with Kugali and lastly Ultimate Black Panther #1
Comic Writers RankingThis week is a fun week as we have the 3 musketeers, Kekes is still on his self-imposed ban. We first cover the confirmed Supergirl casting and the fact that Matthew Vaughn dreams of a Red Son movie starring Henry Cavill. The main thrust of the episode is our ranking of over 20 different ongoing comic writers into various tiers ranging from God Tier all the way to Bad with a consensus voting system. This is filled with a lot of bants, arguments and one of the lowest trash moves by Tunde on the cast yet.Obviously there is a lot of bias and the list isn’t exhaustive since we just picked names that first came to mind however let us know just how wrong we were in our ranking
We have a long lost host return to the podcast and gives us his belated review of the The Marvels.
This episode is all about comic, comics, comics!!We get back into the source of all the material and its been a while

This episode we focus mainly on trailers and a piece of casting news!
New Marvel Announcements and Invincible Mid-Season FinaleThis week’s episode starts with a bang as Kekes goes on a rant about Taika’s Watiti disrespect of Thor as a franchise in his latest comments. This just rubs more salt in Dapo’s wounds and sparks a discussion on artists comments outside the product. We then discuss some announcements from Marvel regarding possible new seasons for shows like Ms Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight and also ponder the ramifications of Loki’s writer being officially confirmed as the writer for Kang’s Dynasty and Secret Wars replacing Antman 3’s writer Jeff Loveness. We then move on the livelier topics as we geek out over the mid season finale of Invincible which delivers a stunning episode with some emotional depth despite some gaps we noticed. And just before we go the Marvels director sparks another debate on the way the movie’s success/failure is qualified. Let us know what you think about thisAs usual, listen share and subscribeVisit https://buff.ly/2Pcogmk for other awesome podcasts and all things geek.
