Emily Weinberg @emily.weinberg is a 17 year old junior from Massachusetts. She is an activist for many different causes. We primarily spoke about her activism in mental health awareness, gun violence prevention, and her campaign efforts to support 2020 democratic candidate Corey Booker. Mental Health is what Emily is mainly passionate about and fueled most of our conversation. As two people who have had our own struggles with mental health, we talk a lot in this podcast about why activism is important. My guest today is Diana Vicezar! @dianavic_ She is in charge of an initiative in her home country of Paraguay where she makes shelters out of recycled materials for stray dogs. Her organization is called @MymbaRayhu. In this episode we talked a lot about MymbaRayhu, how she came up with the idea and founded it, as well as the culture of her home country, Paraguay. It was really interesting to hear about Paraguay’s culture and learn more about Diana! Enjoy the show!

My guest today is Kendall Kieras! Kendall is a 16 year old junior from Seattle, Washington. She is the  social media executive director for ‘Zero Hour,’ a youth climate coalition. In this episode, we talked all about Kendall’s role in Zero Hour and all of the amazing opportunities she’s had because of her involvement. We also talked about the effects of climate change on her hometown of Seattle which suffered tremendous wildfires. Kendall had so many amazing insights and it was a pleasure to have her on, enjoy the convo!

Daphne Frias @frias_daphne is 21 year old college student who is a proud Latina disabled activist. She runs her own chapter of MFOL, started her own non profit called box the ballot which is an absentee ballot collection initiative which collected over 370 thousand absentee ballots in last election. She's the New York State lead for future coalition and is running for county committee in her local district! She is a double major in bio and anthropology and a double minor in sociology and creative writing with a concentration in socia justice. Her mission in life is to spread light in places of darkness through activism! We talked a lot about activism and really bonded through the pod. We also geeked out on horoscopes at the end, it was an absolute pleasure to have her on!

In this episode I had the pleasure of sitting down with Danielle Leard @idanify. Danielle is the founder of @aspirants.co, a digital and print publication dedicated to helping creatives and change makers. Danielle is a California native who has always been interested in writing, speech, debate, and all things politics. She is an activist as well as an overall great person. In this episode we talked about social media, youth activism, and creativity. We go through some of the pressures and challenges of being a member of Gen Z and how we can be better moving forward!
