In college, her activities did not stop as she joined the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Bridgett Herring Williams received her undergraduate degree in Construction Management from North Carolina A&T State University and a Master’s in public administration from High Point University.  While a student at A&T, Bridgett was an active student leader, serving in many capacities and represented her alma mater as Miss North Carolina A&T State University, 1997-98. Upon graduation from college, Bridgett began a career in construction as an assistant project manager while also pursuing her passion for inner-city youth, by volunteering for the local Boys & Girls Club. Through her volunteerism, Bridgett learned more about the non-profit sector which eventually led to her career change.  Dedicating almost 20 years to the non-profit sector, Bridgett has vast experiences as a program director to an executive director. She demonstrated expertise has been in program development, grant writing, facilitating partnerships, consulting, and leading fundraising campaigns for nonprofits of various sizes and missions. Working with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, and the Marilyn G.
