After a traumatic and chaotic week that included birthdays, school closures, coronavirus precautions and a tornado, Stef and her husband chat about it all.  How do you share information with children and not cause panic?   They had Spring Break travel scheduled for the family. Do they still take the trip? Carmit Bachar joins Stef on the podcast today!  Carmit is best known as one of the original members of the multi-platinum, Grammy nominated, recording group The Pussycat Dolls. This week's episode is full of inspiration! Ashlyne Huff Blue discusses her journey to self discovery and happiness. Ashlyne is an author, a yoga teacher, songwriter and a realtor.  She is the daughter of music producer, Dan Huff.  She bravely shares her story of enduring trauma as a teenager and how that particular incident shaped her path for a long time.  Stef and Ashlyne chat about first meeting as songwriters and later reconnecting through yoga.  They realize that their paths have been similar in many ways.  Ashlyne recalls her early days as a pop recording artist, being a "good girl" who always did the right thing to experiencing trauma and multiple bad relationships.  They discuss finding boundaries when you don't have them and how to give yourself more grace.
