A brief overview of some of the ideas I've been juggling about the global present moment with regard to conservation and why its important for climate change and humankind more generally.
We talk of my mother's early sailing experiences, as well as some of my own time at sea. We get into some of the challenges she faced with three young children to look after, and we move on to some thoughts on the nature of distant memories, as well as the habits of chickens.
We have few qualifications as thinkers, and few years behind us. Still we try to speak openly, and to seek the truth, and we value our particular sets of experiences unique to us, humble as they are, and we hope to share them with those who find value in them.
In this podcast, the second of my conversations with my father, we covered his early adult life piloting small aircraft in the Caribbean and his further travels as a yachtsman in the Atlantic. We delved into a few other topics involving our armchair ideas around some past and present world events.
A conversation with my mother, a woman with many fantastic experiences from across the globe. Bountiful tales of fun, courage, hardship (not always at the same time). This was a fun episode and will hopefully be followed by more from her.
A conversation with my father concerning his childhood living on a yacht in the Caribbean.
