The Teaching & Learning Talks Podcast
In this episode, Dr. Galloway and Ms. Bailey interviewed Dr. Michaela Steele. Dr. Steele is the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Coordinator for FISD. We discussed the fantastic CTE options available to our students and the recent certification successes of our students.
Additionally, this episode's FELA highlights Mirna Garza and Norma Idrach, two participants from our dual language program.
We interviewed FMS Principal David Lehman about his school's Christmas Tree decorating contest and how it benefits families in need. We discussed the importance of community engagement. This episode's FELA highlight is Celest Martinez. Celeste is an Assistant Principals at FHS. She discussed the importance of leadership development and how her FELA project will be benefiting Assistant Principals in FISD and our surrounding school district.
