In episode 8 we sit down and talk to River AKA Heval Tekoser. A former US Navy fireman and combat medic in the YPG's infamous TMU Medical unit. River is also a documentary film maker, filming shows for Discovery Channel, History Channel, Animal Planet, and more. He is the maker of the 2019 documentary 'The Volunteers' where he documented his time with the YPG's first ever medical unit during the bloody battle of Manbij. Join us as we sit back and reflect with one of Firat's closest friends from the war. 

In todays episode we talk to our dear friend John AKA Dijwar who was a part of the 223 Sniper unit during the battle of Raqqa. We couldnt possibly fit the stories these two have in to one episode so we keep this one short and sweet until next time...Join us and listen to his story and how he got there. 

Our hosts Firat and Grady discuss some of the things that have happened since our last episode. We talk about everything from the current situation with Turkey and all the rest of the players involved, to answering a few questions from instagram. Jeff is a US Army vet who volunteered for the YPG in 2015...he was there with Firat in the Academy, during their first operations, and more.
