In a bonus episode drop, we're sharing the recording from a special evening we hosted with Pete Greig (founder of 24-7 Prayer) during his visit through Kansas City. Adam Cox and David Blackwell host a playful and provoking conversation with Pete to help Navah connect with the past, present and future story of the wider 24-7 Prayer movement.
Closing out Season 3, these final two episodes are pulled from a teaching time Juli and Adam Cox gave during our recent Spring Retreat. Adam continues by rehearsing our roots as a prayerful family on mission surrendered to the Holy Spirit and the promises of Jesus that still hold true through the process of pruning.

Rule of Life, Ep 6: Joshua ad Meredith Johnson are leaders in the missions organization All Nations, and are a part of Navah’s Home Church Equipping Team. The Johnsons spoke with David and reflected on how spiritual practices aren’t just for our own edification but how the simple practices of abiding with Christ are integrated in the great Commission of disciplining others.

We continue with more conversation about the seasons we find ourself in as David sits down to talk with Adam Cox about the movement of Jesus in the near past (and near future) of Navah. Looking at how we live in a year of uncertainty and turmoil, Adam dives into the vulnerability of how to receive pressure out of James 1, and then how do we walk forward in that pressure.
(Part 2 of 2) In the second half of David' conversation with Katie Egli around the prophetic, we delve into the murkier waters of our responsibility to test and weigh words in the midst of relationship, our need for both diversity and disagreement, and how we submit our personal filters as we discern both the personal and public words we feel from God.
(Part 1 of 2) In a bit of departure from storytelling, David hangs out with Katie Egli for a conversation about the meeting place of the pastoral and the prophetic, specifically in places of differences or downright disagreement in the church. Drawing from Galatians 5, we talk about how the fruits of the Spirit push us to prioritize humility and friendship over ‘being right’.
