Hey babes and welcome to Epi 03!!! Girl we really joced this whole time. Lol, we are truly clowns. On lovers and friends we talked about making a list and checking it twice😏 and for lagniappe we talked about Cajun VS. Creole. We had so much fun recording this episode. OH and before we go, we have some VERY exciting news. OUR BEST BABE had her sweet baby boy. If you know us, you know we brag about our friends. Our baby boy is so loved already, we can’t wait for you all to meet him. xoxo
Hey babes! And welcome to episode 2 of season 3. Life has been moving so fast for all of us, between COVID, moving to a new city, being pregnant and starting new jobs it has been a RIDE. On this episode Dijon and Chels hold it down while Yani prepares for motherhood. Hope you enjoy!

Happy Release Day Babiesss!!! After listening to this episode all I have to say is we are soooo New Orleans lol. (That just means our accents are super strong and we use a lot of Nola slang) this episode was super fun to record because we talked about being rejected & how it made us feel. Feel free to let us know about your rejected moments and if it changed your perspective on anything. Until next time, xoxoxo
HAPPY JULYYYYY!!!!! Wow 1/2 of the year is already done. Where has the time gone?? Well, with this episode we’re talking about our favorite trip that we’ve taken together. And if you stay tuned... I promise you, you won’t be disappointed!!
Heyyy babes! This episode was so so fun for us because we had another podcaster come in and join the conversation. TheMomathonPodcast which is hosted by Dartez (a mommy to 2) is sooo New Orleans lol. She let us in on some of her crazy experiences and she gave us some wonderful knowledge about her brand and how we can educate ourselves on everything going on right now. We encourage everyone to go check out her a podcast (especially if you’re a momma!) we think you’ll really enjoy it. Until next time xoxo
First and foremost, Rest In Power to George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and the hundreds of black lives that were lost to police brutality. We felt it necessary to dedicate this entire episode to the injustices placed upon on race and the power that each and every one of us has. We think it's important for our counterparts to know that ALL LIVES WILL NOT MATTER UNTIL BLACK LIVES MATTER. There is no reason why police brutality and racism should still be effecting our system today... but after hundreds of years of starvation wages, mass incarceration, racist politicians, lack of opportunties.. (shall we go on?) THIS IT THE OUTCOME. No, George Floyd is not the only reason black people are protesting right now, he was only the tip of the ice burg. It's time for people to start calling a spade a spade. And another thing, for those black influencers that WE put on..... WE SEE YOU. We see how you aren't speaking up for us, we see you trying to 'protect' your brand, we see you CRYING over Gucci. It's pathetic and extremely embarrassing. Get yourself together.  Sincerely, THE NOLA BABES.
Hey Babes!!!! This episode was a really fun with us. With all that’s going on throughout the world, sometimes we just need to RELAX and enjoy what we have. In this episode, we started off with the usual trending topics, and guess what... BOOSIE IS BACK AT IT lol! It’s like every time he talks he starts a controversy. But, we didn’t “drag” the entire time lol we definitely let y’all in on some JUICY topics! Y’all gotta tune in for that though. Last but certainly not least, we hosted our first live on Zoom. We had such a great time with everyone and we can’t wait until the next one. Check out of ig for more information on the next one. Love you guys foreverrrr xoxo
In this episode we discuss the savage remix ft. Beyoncé and some advice we wish we would’ve known at a younger age. We hope you all enjoy!
Wow guys, its been a minute since we’ve posted a new episode. Of course, no one was expecting a pandemic so we kinda just had to go with the flow of things. We did whatever it took to get this episode out to you guys so we really hope yall enjoy it. In this episode we mainly talked about the virus and the effect it’s had on our lives thus far, but we also pointed out some brighter notes! For the topic we decided to talk about our future and what we expect to achieve by the age of 50. We love you guys sooo much and thanks for being patient with us.
Hola! Episode 06 already? This season is surely flying by and there’s so many things that has happened in 2020 and it’s only MARCH. In our trending topics we talked about the coronavirus and our thoughts about it. Then we moved into our icebreaker which was all about creativity. For the grand finale we discussed something that we believe that has changed our outlook on life. Side note: Wesleigh’s portion was definitely outspoken. Listen and tell us with you think. We love & appreciate you so much. Oh and don’t forget, WE HAVE MERCH FOR SALE at www.thenolababes.com
Happy Pardi Gras babes!!! With this season finally coming to an end, we decided to wine down and talk about our favorite NOLA eats with Alex Craig! Alex is the owner of Tee Alex Catering LLC, and she dropped gems about starting your own business and where her favorite restaurants are in the city. Listen up as we also dive into the conversation of confidence and where we are in our lives with it. Hope you babes and boys (lol) enjoy this talk!!! Much love.
Surprise!!!! Episodes back to back! We obviously are in the Mardi Gras gifting season with this one lol. On this bonus episode we’ll be talking all about our favorite, not so favorite, creatures.. MEN. Lol jkjk but this episode really is all about how confusing they can be and what confuses us the most. Disclaimer: WE KNOW BLACK MEN DONT CHEAT, but let’s just use our “imaginations” and have fun LOL.
It’s time to have this discussion... we’ve all been there, and what we mean by “there” is bad hair days. In this episode you’ll get to hear us talk about some of our worst hair experiences. But please... do not drag for us lol. Most of these experiences happened in our teenage years so just try and let us off the hook! If you guys have ever had a bad hair experience (which we know you have so don’t lie) then go comment under our post on Instagram @nolababes_Thanks for listening!
Episode 02: Stay Ready

Episode 02: Stay Ready

2020-01-2934:01

How does the saying go again?! Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready. That’s the one! But before we get into our episode we first want to say Rest In Peace to Kobe Bryant and the other 8 lives that we lost so tragically. We have been reminded that life on earth is very short and we should always express gratitude. We hope this inspires you to live your best life the way The Black Mamba inspired so many others.
We’re baaaackkkk and ready for ROUND 2!!!! Lol this season we are definitely about to apply pressure. We want everything and then we’re adding tax lol. This season we are doing things different, we’ve added a new segment called trending topics to start the podcast off with some energy. If you read this far you get in on a little secret, we’re talking about Lori Harvey and Bossie Badazz. We will continue with our icebreakers and main topic, so stay tuned for that also. We, THE BABES, appreciate all the love and support we’ve been receiving so far. If there’s anything you want us to talk about, feel free to mention us on Twitter or even DM us on Instagram. Xoxo, TheNolaBabes

January 8th. So just stay tuned to find out whatever that date means. Thanks again for rocking with us guys, we about to BOSS THE HELL UP over this break baybeeee.
Guess what today is?! RELEASE DAY! Lol, this episode is definitely one of our favorites because we interviewed the AMAZING, CREATIVE, HUMBLE Delaney George aka Laneslense. If you’re from New Orleans than we are more than sure that you’ve seen her work. We got the opportunity to sit down with Delaney and talk about how she comes up with her creative concepts and what entrepreneurship looks like for her. We can’t thank Delaney enough for being apart of this episode and for dropping gems. Delaney, we love you and we will forever support you! Check out this joce and let us know what you think in the comments on our Instagram @nolababes_.
