This brand new episode of Business, Wine and Cheese features the very talented Aleksandar Jason - A.K.A. photographer/entrepreneur/business owner. Aleksandar began his photography career in the nightclub scene, working as a photographer under the alias “Adam not Eve”. This acted as the perfect segue into the music scene which eventually lead to opportunities with Vice Magazine, ultimately allowing him to make a name for himself as a photographer. He eventually rebranded to Aleksandar Jason, at which point he was hired by Melbourne City and began shooting for brands such as Puma, Nike, Oakley. For this episode of Business, Wine & Cheese we had the pleasure of chatting to Daniel Hakim, founder of CUB. Daniel was born in Sydney, but completed his highschooling at an international school in Paris from 14 - 19 years old. He tells us how this experience Introduced him to the benefits of having a very strong network at a young age. From here, Daniel started a restaurant at the age of 21 before moving on to where his is now, Director of CUB. Quite an inspirational character, if you ask us!Salesforce’s 1% initiative discussed in this video is called the “Pledge 1%” program, and it invites all entrepreneurs and their companies to commit important resources (product, time, and resources) to support integrating philanthropy into their business from an early stage. Since it began, they have been able to give more than $240 million in grants, 3.5 million hours of community service, and provided product donations for more than 39,000 nonprofits and education institutions.
