October is National Domestic Violence Awareness month. Our guest Carin Jayne Casey, shares her traumatic story of living a life rooted in domestic violence. She was a victim of domestic abuse from a child and into adulthood. Fortunately she recognised that this was only a part of her story and thankfully not the end of her story. Recently I read the book Harvard Business Review: Mental Toughness which is all about creating strategies that develop our brains capacity to rejig how people in high places handle stressful situations so they can operate at an optimum yet balanced high performance. God then revealed to me that the outcome of our situations lies in how we perceive and approach them.
