In the nearly thirty years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was first introduced, in 1990, differently abled Americans have seen public and private spaces across the country become more accommodating to their needs. From defined requirements for handicapped parking spaces to rules expanding the use of service animals, the ADA has been repeatedly cited by the Supreme Court in cases where disability figures heavily. In this episode, we talk to Matthew Dietz, to have a basic understanding of the law.
