In this final episode of the season, David Morgan (Knutsford Beer Festival) speaks with Chris from Hush Brewing HUSH is born out of a shared love of beer, seasonal drinking, a passion for the wide variety of beer styles available and enjoying great times socialising over a beer.  Their goal is to bring a variety of great local beers to the local area and to share their passion for beer.Chris and Simon started HUSH after meeting at Northwich Home Brew Crew and becoming instant friends. Individually they both harboured dreams of starting a brewery and found that together they have been able to pursue this shared passion.
Knutsford Beer Festival's David Morgan speaks to Steven Taylor of the local nano Brewery Tay Brew Co. from Middlewich. about the history of the brewery, his current lineup, upcoming beer and brewing collaborations. Tay Brew Co will be exhibiting at this years Knutsford Beer Festival
In 2023 , we had over 1,000 visitors to the festival and we raised a record £12,000 for charity! Collectively, the beer festival has raised almost £50,000 since it began in 2014. Part of how we raise so much money is to have sponsors for the event. This year we are raising money for the Stable Minds mental health charity and Hope Central food bank.Huge thanks to all our sponsors that support us every year, we couldn’t raise money without you. Thank you!
With tens of thousands of pounds raised, thousands of volunteer hours and thousands of beers enjoyed from a whole host of breweries, Paul Langley (Ents)  and Andrew Malloy ,(Chair)  reflect on ten years of festival success.
Here's a scratchy bit of unrefined Op-Ed with Mark Lee-Kilgarriff, of Tatton Perk fame and Jonathan Farber, local filmmaker producer and now, part time photographer. In this episode, we focus on Jonathan's career, where Ai and creativity meet, what is next for photography, The impact of Gen Y parenting namely emotional resilience and the rapid deconstruction of basic morals  through social content. Twenty minutes of general unedited waffle  focused on  the emerging human condition.
In this, the second episode, we hear from some of the beer festival team.  Logistics captain Colin Kemshead, master of festival finance, Mike Braun, event supporter Sandra Curties the Masterclass organiser and original Team KBF fundraiser & marketeer, Jonathan Farber. For the uninitiated beer festival gooer you will learn about what to expect at this years two-day event, how to buy tickets and from where plus how you pay for the beers themselves.
In part 2, we listen to Dee, organiser of brilliantly successful The Toy Appeal, Kirsty from the Bideford centre which is a direct recipient of the toy appeal's support and Beer Festival Chair Andrew Malloy who is the festival originator.
In this, the first of three Knutsford Beer Festival podcasts,  we hear from Mobberley Brew House Managing Director and Master Brewer, James Roberts, David Morgan, a beer commentator, entertainment journalist and beer festival curator, and Rachel Bishop who spearheads all beer festival brand identity and overall marketing for the event.
In this community podcast, I speak with the current town mayor councillor and first citizen of Knutsford, Andrew Malloy. Andrew is now in his ninth year at Knutsford Town Council and was duly elected Mayor in May 2019. He’s married, he’s the father of two and his near-legendary omnipresence has certainly set him up as one of Knutsford’s most recognised community championsIn this podcast, he talks about the first 150 days in office, the challenges he faces and what he hopes to achieve in his position as mayor and of course as an elected councillor.
In this one-off episode, Rachel Bishop and I discuss the very serious subject family travel music, biscuits and other related nonsense, with my own children, who just happen to be in the studio at the time.
