Description

“Hunger and the Environment”, a new podcast from Second Harvest Heartland food bank, aims to inform, inspire and educate the public about our hunger relief work and how it connects to environmental sustainability. It’s our hope that this podcast helps to create a dialogue about how the topics of environmental sustainability and hunger relief are not only related but are truly inseparable in our current food system. We want listeners to walk away with an increased awareness of the intersectionality of hunger and environmentalism.
